Not big Shapiro fan, but good you talk with everyone. I have never been a fan of climate change discussions. They are much of irrelevant. The reason industry and governments somehow see climate change as something to get solved is that ( like Germany prior to WW2 or China with infrastructure boom), global change in policies drives new investments and makes global corporations still viable and relevant. Also, construction, automotive, chem industry drive societies and these operate at 30 year MMT cycles. So now we have to seed what will be implemented in 30 years. It will be interesting to see who survives.

So 420ppm CO2 emissions is harmless. MIT just announced it developed a chemical process to turn CO2 into Methanol which can be stored.

Always take these announcements as 5 % sucess rate within two years and 10% within 10 to reach pilot. Then take 0.1% of success rate at pilot to understand the actual impact of these ‘ new’ announcements. Btw there is a pilot in Denmark converting CO2 to acetone… so unless their catalyst yield is above 80% and pressure is not extreme, likely not aplicable.😊
