I need Ben's brain for crafting.....I understand like 10% at most of what he did and why....looks so cool to craft those items

I've invested quite a lot of time recently in crafting and seeing a guided process like this from Ben now was awesome... if you understand the mechanics behind each crafting method and have a good overview what each can do in the most effective way, you really can get behind this. I didn't know what exactly he was gunning for each time, but I knew which crafting method would be best in that scenario so this felt really validating. Can only recommend watching some of the crafting videos on youtube, some of which are great in that they go through the process of crafting endgame items and explaining the reasoning process. And the maxroll articles for the different methods are so good as well, especially the examples for some medium crafts where you have like 3-5 steps instead. Especially metamod crafting was such a black-box for me for a long time (300h in now)

for me it was the mapping actually. He cleared the showcased map in 3 minutes including doing temples AND betrayal. For crafting, I recommend you follow guides first, even Ben doesn't know everything, there are "patterns" that are well known to force things onto items but actually you can go even deeper than what he did. He is not really crafting there, he is applying known recipes.

So I am trying to get this to work and what a hard/interesting build it is to get off the ground. I of course do not have t5 pokimane sub money. The video is very helpful in what steps I need to take. So far I have 1/4 the damage of Ben and 1/3 the tankiness and I am a mageblood and about 50 divs in. Some of my pain points. 1) He has T1 suppress on two pieces of gear with other resistances. That's about 1/1374 with resistance essence to hit a 2nd T3 res (other 2 elements or chaos). He has exactly 100% and this is with 2 suppress tattoos. Fracture suppress might be a possible intermediate item but you need the unveil to get +2 aoe for purity scaling and freeze/chill immunity. 2) I have low ES, can't use Zealotry. 3) This build with low damage feels bad. If your damage is too low you will not have enough leech to cast Blade blast reliably. The mana cost is 89 on Ben's POB. Ben's POB will trigger 10 BC stacks in 1 second. So take the 10 Stage blade blast dps, config power charge, boss scaling and divide by his cast rate and it's about a 15 million DPS build at his POB. So far I have skipped Melding as no way my gear is good enough to overcome the resistance malus. I am taking an extra suppress wheel. I am also using a +3 phys skill, 32% cs, 100% crit, 90% dmg staff I found in heist before I can afford the wand craft. That seems like the biggest dps upgrade. Boots and helmet might be next so I can take a 3rd large cluster. Amulet might just be a +1 phys as I cannot imagine myself rolling for +1 all skill on amulet (1/2000ish alts). None of this is criticism of the build/video. I always try to follow one of Ben's build a league to learn more about the game. Videos like this make it much easier. It's a great way to set a goal past mageblood farm I usually do as this league it was reachable quickly even with my slow play style. GL exiles.

To add to this. In Necro league, it is possible to find 2x fracture items in SC TRADE. I found a base helm with fractured life and 46 resist. This then cuts down essence spam down to 1/196 to get t1 suppress. Then use wild bristle matrons to craft on "Suffix cannot be changed". Maybe people sell these bricks at a discount (not the right fractured mods after grave craft). I was able to get the helmet in relatively cheaply (6div) until the +2 aoe unveil (took 4 tries). Only remembered beast craft on 4th try or it would have saved me 6 extra divines.

It does fracture before it divines I did 18 rolls on a fractured chaos res and still hit 31%

So if I understand the build correctly, it uses brand recall Triggerbots with 5 arcanist brands to automatically generate 10 blade vortex stacks every 1.2 seconds passively all the time (plus some extra stacks if the brands attach to mobs). Cool build. With all that Adorned scaling the crit multi support actually gets outclassed by cruelty.

With Automation, each brand gives 4 stacks when recalled, so you only need 2.5 (3) brands this league instead :D huge QoL

And technically the more blades per second the more dps you can get. Each BB counts up to 10 explosions, whether the new stacks came in before or after the sequence started. Meaning you can have multiple sets of BB explosions in sequence provided there are still blades to explode. Each BB takes off one BV blade per .1s. I was looking at this last league, but abandoned since others already figured out it was solved with arcanist brand. Huge potential and can be built in so many ways. Straight sabo, archmage etc.

how is arcanist brand giving 10 blades back that fast? even when there's no mobs around to trigger on, does it really cast that fast to get to 10 stacks?

Triggerbots and brand recall Automation triggers brand recall on all of his brands out, which are then castes twice because of Triggerbots

Automation Brand Recall is triggering very frequently plus he has trigger bots (which is why he's even Saboteur in the first place).

Take care and don't be a dumb dumb like me : At 2:38 , it says "Multimod, prefix lock, craft mana" DONT. It's Multimod, Cannot roll attack, craft mana. If you multi / lock pref / mana, you can and will certainly roll added phys damage. At least, the annul hit it the first time, and save me the alt spam for +1 again, just lost ~6 div. Edit : Hit T9 life on life aug... FML
