Brilliant film Jim, I was thinking of going there on the saturday but i ended up on the train to Corrour instead. This is by far the best route option for Lui as it really shows what a brilliant mountain it is. Great stuff you two:)))

What a far superior route to the A85 it is, no tick in the box for me nor Pedro but a brilliant brilliant day out!

Cracking video again Jim. Always good to follow Peter and you. Did this route a few years ago but used bikes for the long trek up the track. We also went over to Beinn a'Chlieb and had zero visibility so missed out on those grand views. One I would love to do again on a good day. Enjoyed the trip. Atb. Mick.

Thanks Blamhof, glad you are following us! Yeah bikes would be a great idea as its a 2 hour walk along that motorway - each way! We'd done the wee one at the back when he did Ben Lui from A85 previously so no pressure to get him again, and you really should do it again as this route is 10x the A85 route and more! Get a good day for it like we had. There is aircraft wreckage near the summit of Ben Lui - a Hudson - research where that is before you go back

Hi Jim, I’m a subscriber to your channel. Vids are always informative 👍 I’m thinking of doing Ben lui tomorrow and was wondering where best to start from, gonna go same way as you and Pedro did it, up the the left hand side and then down the right. Is it best to start from dalrigh car park or lower tyndrum station. Is the other easy to find at the start.?.

I have done it both ways and this is definately best. We started from the car park (dont know where the station is) and you cannot get lost as its like a motorway all the way to the bottom then a path halfway up then aim left for the gap and just plot your own route - magnificent walk! Hope the weather is good for you!

Just rewatched it - what a great day that was - hope you have as good a day. Pedro and I are slow ... 9 hours for 1 munro ... but we savoured that one!

Jim Ramsay how long Jim from base of mountain to summit roughly so I can put a kinda time frame on the day, thinking of leaving the car park for about 8am and hope to be back for around 4ish before it gets dark.??
