Not your run- of- the- mill subjects in Cavett interviews. I think you learn more from watching artists in Dick's shows than anywhere else. Deep and profound conversations.
Extremely intelligent and witty individual, his role in Stern was truly heart-taking

"They're Croatian and we're Slavic" I was wondering why he said that, since we're a pretty god forsaken country, until I realized this was filmed in 1991 during the civil war, but what he meant to say is "Serbian" not Slavic lol

A slip of the tongue, I'm sure.
That name Kingsley is saying around 5:20 is Alf Garnett -- the main character in the British comedy series 'Til Death Us Do Part,' from which the U.S. series 'All in the Family' was derived. (So I guess that would mean Alf Garnett was the British Archie Bunker.)
Thank God for the arts it’s the only thing that makes life worth living sometimes. Beauty
Great show.

I just looked up the portrait he mentioned. I see what he means.
Mr. Kingsley I wish I could say something miraculous had occurred and that we no longer “need the enemy” you so capably describe. Alas that is not the case. 😔

I have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rare much like all the other Dick Cavett interviews

This interview was before the Rochdale cultural enrichment began.
He's wrong about the British not being entranced by indigenous gangsters. There were a series of gangster movies and television series in the 1950's to the 1990's that were all white working class men who were redeemable in that they aspired to the middle classes.

Anyone notice how the older Ben Kingsley gets the less Indian he looks? Videos from his younger days he looks like a typical North Indian.
sorry to cause you troubles pardonne me sir to not making attention about the ...vehicle
Why does the video description use the entirely anachronistic American sociological term “person of color”? The concept did not exist in 1991, and is not applicable in this context anyways.
