I've followed Merle from the late 60's and i feel Ben has outdone his step brothers Marty & Noel Haggard !...it's great to see the tradition continue !....he sounds so much like Merle in his younger days !....I play guitar and love to sing !...Merle,George and Buck Owens were my favorites !......

For this reason I still keep at it. Hard to find a band that understands How i play without a song list. He taught me that. Hag said 2 min you have them!

I remember seeing you with your Dad in Huntsville, Alabama. Jeff Cook from Alabama played that night with the band. Didn't know much about you then, but you are a great musician, and you have a wonderful voice.I saw the video of you and Noel singing together and then you singing It's All in the Movies. That was a great performance. Not sure what Nashville is looking for these days, but you should be a star Ben Haggard. Hope to hear more from you soon.

Ben you are blessed with the voice and talents of your old man and after a few years of being on the road being hurt by people you trust you will develop your writing Skills from the pleasures and pains don't worry about what people say do what feels good to you and say what needs to be said and what you feel. I am really gonna miss your dad but you are helping me just by doing what I've seen on KZread. I have listened to Merle, Willie, Waylon, George Jones and Strait since all the Outlaws were on the road in the 70's passing through towns and leaving their Legendary trail across the globe. Spend as much time with Willie as you can and make him tell you stories there are a lot of songs unwritten there ... Always remember your heart is a great place to start...

I have absolutely no doubt he had one of his daddy's guitars in his hand by the age of 4. Early vids on his channel show him playing like a pro in his teens.

I disagree! Hank 3 is but shooter has some real Jams that I love. Do go expecting to hear daddy and you wont be disappointed. Shooter also writes his own music.
