Ben Finegold: Uranium's New Paradigm - Market Dynamics and How to Invest

Ben Finegold of Ocean Wall shares his latest thoughts on uranium supply, demand and prices.
In his view, the market has still only reached its third inning, meaning the story is nowhere near over. While investors will need to be more selective, Finegold remains bullish on the uranium spot price and sees uranium stocks opportunities as well.
"You've got the supply side as fragile as it is, and you've got demand really starting to kick into gear over the next decade. And then you can throw (small modular reactors) into that story, you can throw ... all these bells and whistles on top. And you start to realize that it is a unique, quality story vs. anything else," he said during the interview.
This interview was filmed on May 23, 2024.

Lightbridge LTBR is a maker of novel Lightbridge fuel for smr's and regular nuclear reactors. Their patents should make their proprietary knowledge indispensable going forward.

Coal stocks: 25x average Uranium stocks: ( except for paladin energy, Bannerman and boss and a couple more…) 2,5x or even less I am in uranium since 2020 and I have heard tons tons of news, great words but little very little returns if you compare with most assets. Absolutely dissapointed, equities do nothing and always dissapoint take global, goviex, all explorers, then another makes a raise… I am holding but not happy at all…

There is an almost inexhaustible amount of coal and its analogs available at or below the surface. In fact they transport it by rail car by the 100's of 1000's of tons each month and year. Uranium pellet of 20 gms is eq to 1 long ton of coal. The countries that burn coal are the ones that have to by necessity. With net zero emissions on the table the likely alternative is nuclear energy for a 24/7 stable grid. Coal is not an option for fully developed nations. The race to feed demand will likely spur the much anticipated price spike needed to shock the system to created more by mining. There is much doubt that even stratospheric numbers will induce much supply. The only thing that is needed is time and belief in the thesis. I would say diversify to PMs and overlooked areas of the market for gains. If only the U market acted like the coal stocks that would be phenomenal. GLTU
