I am a huge Ben "Funky" Askren fan. He had a 19 fight win streak using one style (wrestling) during an era when most single style fighters were no longer able to be competitive. It is a shame that most viewers only got to see him at the very end of his career. Also - He choked out Robbie Lawler.

Yea I was in denial but the speed u get OXYGEN back to the brain is underestimated. Example. When jan blachowicz was choked out by Glover Teixeira in ¹/² a second. That's some squeeze. Same with islam & charles. That's some squeeze

BORZ NONCHALANTLY says MEH so 7lbs. Not that bad. COSTA still gettin TREATED like shit. Even after bringing more eyes to UFC WITH LIVERKING. STILL DANA WANNA PAY HIM SHIT. BORZ FAKE GLOVE TOUCH HOLLAND. U WERE GONNA BEAT HOLLAND ANYWAY, COME ON LOL VERY INSECURE ABOUT HIS STRIKING FOLLOWING HIS BURNS FIGHT. IF HE FIGHTS ALEX. HE WONT STRIKE, HE WILL SHOOT LIGHTNING FAST RIGHT INTO A SWITCH KNEE.. ESSENTIALLY KO himself.. 🙄

Not a huge Ben fan but I always drop a like and view for the channel. Respect the grind and hope someone gives you the push to topple the big nose guys reign as king of journalists.

Noobs and casuals have no idea Ben was a dominant undefeated champion for like 20 years then retired and got hip surgery before ever coming to the UFC.

I never got why people hated on Ben so hard. He had way more than just a respectable win streak going, using just literally wrestling (don’t tell me those “punches” are punches) and even after becoming the literal meme of MMA for years he still was humble in defeat and never really has been anything but chill when talking about the UFC and fighters

I respect his wrestling skills on amateurs... MMA he has been exposed and 1 dimensional dive for the legs he's not really world class or elite but I appreciate how he had the courage to go for it. He's just annoying and suppose fans either love him or hate him kinda thing. I don't hate him but I don't love him. I hate his haircut style and his fighting style. He's funny sometimes I'll give him that. I'm never reading his book but EVER. His trash talk is bad enough out loud never mind reading his story we already know the ending of
