One thing I noticed about this man is the moment the judge said he was proud of him he almost cried but he fixed his posture and stood up straight and with pride and has held up high and people don't understand that he's probably never heard that a day in his life and that probably just made his entire life

The irony of this guy getting 35+ years in prison for stealing half a million, while Hollywood takes his story and makes 150 million. Hollywood should owe him at least 15% of that cut.
Imagine putting someone in jail for 30 years for robbing a federally insured bank but a murderer can get less than 10 or get off all together.

This judge takes the time to listen to the stories of each person that takes that stand. I wish I had that chance in the handful of times I went before a judge to fight a ticket and as I explained what had happened he ignored me, shuffled papers around till he noticed I stopped talking and just said he found me responsible
When the judge told him he was proud of him it got to him. He probably hasn't heard that in a while.

The world needs more people like this judge.....especially with the way things are now.
I wasn't expecting the judge to do such a thing, that was totally nice and kind of him. This world needs more moments like that. Everyone's life is different for many reasons but people should learn that we can all be reasonable towards each other.
I couldn’t imagine A life choice 37 yrs ago when I was a kid, putting me in jail almost my whole life. I pray he finds his way & some good income. The judge is a real judge, he has the wisdom we all need.

I had a judge help me a lot he got be breakfast once cause I was early to court he saw I never missed court dates and understood how I got caught up there’s a few out there but then again it depends on the person I’ve always been respectful and eveeytime I got locked up I didn’t argue or complain so cops spoke nice about me I just sat in a cell and waited you’d be surprised the difference it makes instead of arguing with cops

Yeah not really. The robbery that he got busted for was 6,100.00 for I believe 3 people that were involved. 2000.00 ea. And 20 years no thanks. If you search the guys name he was exaggerating on his sentences by 10 years. 20 is still an insanely long sentence but not 30. The other 7 years he claims I didn’t find anything on. I only read some news articles I didn’t search by SS# LOL.

The guy was right though - it was free money - the banks are insured for private and public accounts - plus bankers steal more money from us than we possibly could from them - then you have 2008 where obama bailed the banks out with OUR money after the banks already stole from us - seriously - check it out - what banks did with mortgages and credit cards

Wow! What a judge! Judge Caprio is surely one in a zillion! He does realize how hard it can be for someone just out of prison. In truth, Judge Caprio actually rewards this man for his honesty and not for his past. May you have a long and healthy life, Judge Caprio. Our love and respect are always with you...
This is really cool these folks in high position donating money to pay fines that people get for infractions. That need a break. We all have some rough spots and there are many peeps that need help it's just feels good to see it. I like this judge he understands people.
