Welcome to Daddy Daughter RC. In this episode I take the new Beluga 2.0 for its maiden voyage. One of two new editions to the DaddyDaughterRC Channel.
I put it on its roof way more than I wanted. Pretty Impressed with it straight out of the box. Such a Beautiful and scale crawler for the money. The Lights especially the Lightbar is pretty cool and plenty of options or turn it off. Obviously there needs some minor upgrades to improve on it to make it more capable. The first will be some low down weight with heavy wheels and tyres (unfortunately the wheels are not bead locks as would like to push the stock tyres for a bit to see how they go but the wheels are just to light).
I love that there is a separate diff locks for front and rear as is great for seeing how far you can push in different situations unlocked or with just one set locked etc. The servo is super quick and not geared down so a slight touch on the steering has you at full lock and is slightly weak. The steering angel is impressive but servo pushes past its points and no adjustment to correct this. If you have have run the 1060 esc you will know its ok but not great but way better than the 1040 esc that was in the FTX Gladius we have (hence the instant upgrade). Besides this easy to fix issues I believe this is a great crawler.

That beluga 2.0 looks very cool and seems to have alot of detail. For stock it drives well. 👍👍👍

Thanks panda for the visit ❤️ I wanted the bronco body too but little boss beat me to it ( it will be on channel soon when she finishes making changes to it) This one has more specs though and disco lights 🤣

Thanks Fortesrc for the visit ❤️ I am liking it so far and in real life it is sooo pretty ( that metallic red) Trying to hold the reins in a bit before I upgrade too much.
Very cool climbing abilities👍 For the drag break issue I would recomment a Fusion SE combo. With the additional program card it's around hundred bucks more but worth every cent.

Nice video. I have one & so far the steering servo went out & then the ESC shorted out & caught on fire. Not a very good start with mine. Hope yours will be better.

Thank you byrddmann for the visit ❤️. Ouch!! That's not good. Were you running lipo or one that came with it ? ( I think it was NiMH 🤔). My daughter still has original motor and esc in her beluga but this one has just had fusion SE fitted as like most RTR they have a 1040 or 1060 which is ok but not great. The fusion SE is amazing motor/esc as an upgrade. Yes the servo is pretty weak in this and We have swapped out both for Injora servos and just did a quick run this afternoon and uploaded tonight. Going away this weekend to push them harder.
