I agree with other comments that this was an unfair assessment of Beloved. I’ve been there 5 times and many of the people we meet there have been multiple times as well. There’s a reason a lot of the guests continue to go back. If you prefer the larger, louder resorts this place is probably not for you. It’s small, only 109 rooms, and even at full capacity it does not seem crowded at all. It’s definitely laid back and quiet which is what we like. This review didn’t mention the spa, which is the best we’ve been to (and we’ve been to all of the Excellence resorts). The hydro therapy is fantastic. Plus, the daily activities are fun (various mixology classes). And they do have nightly entertainment albeit not on a larger scale like the bigger resorts. The food is on par with the other Excellence resorts. And yes the taco truck is great. The coffee shop (Caffetto) is the best of all the resorts. Of all the Excellence resorts I rate the service here the best. I get this resort may not be for everyone but it really is a nice place to relax and chill.

Your note in the description box contradicts what you say in the video. If someone just watches the video and didn't click on the description box to see what you wrote, then they would walk away thinking Beloved was terrible. Definitely not the 5 star resort that is on so many Best All Inclusive Resort lists from travel KZreadrs and regular guests. Not a fair assessment, in my opinion. You made no mention of the gorgeous spa, the complimentary hydro therapy treatment offered to all guests, the amazing mixology and cocktails, or the nightly entertainment in the Lupita Lounge with talented singers and musicians. It's a boutique hotel, it is common knowledge that it will have far less restaurants. Again, not a fair or equal assessment to the larger resorts. Sounds like your preference is with the resorts that have loud main pools and foam parties.

I 100% agree with your statement. I feel that this review is an honestly unfair assessment. The review seems overly negative as it didn't fit their preference, and didn't speak much to the larger audience. Not a fair assessment of what beloved was made for - a quite boutique hotel retreat for couples. Not like it's party sister hotel Excellence.

Let me start by saying I have not stayed at any of the 3 resorts you mention. Beloved, Excellence P M or Excellence P C. But, I have looked at all 3 resorts online and considered a vacation at all 3. Your video seems like you didn't even look at the Beloved website before you booked your vacation. Sort of like this was some sort of surprise resort vacation for you. If you would have looked at the Beloved website, you would have known all about the small number of restaurants, the lack of sporting activities, the small pools, the small beach, etc, etc. All of this was a surprise to you. Plus when you compare Beloved with Excellence P M and Excellence P C, you aren't comparing apples to apples. Beloved has 109 rooms, while Excellence P M has 450 rooms and Excellence P C has 461 rooms ! The difference in room numbers should explain right away why there are such differences in restaurants, sports, pools, beach size, etc. I thought you resort review was TERRIBLE !

You, know it's a boutique resort right ? If you want to be around drunk college kids go to Excellance. Such a moronic review. Their not the same thing. You want mature go to Beloved if you want to be drunk and party go to Excellance. Easy

Yes, I'm aware of that. I actually don't want to be around drunk college kids - that would have made it 10 times worse. I enjoyed Excellence more for the activities. Sometimes you learn things in hindsight. We tried it and it wasn't our cup of tea. Nothing wrong with that lol just our opinion.
