I've always been very proud to be a veteran American. Proud of our heritage, history and safety. But for the first time in my life, I am ashamed at what has happened to this country. Ashamed at the "new" supreme court, ashamed at all of our politicians, ashamed at Washington. To actually allow a convicted demonic narcissist to run for president is sickening. The U.S. has lost its values. I will vote in November, to anyone on the ballot except Trump, and that is what I hate the most....voting to just keep a monster away.

I keep hearing the public statements and think “ No other president in history would ever say things like he does” Presidents are simply supposed to be better than this. I am an average blue collar worker. I wouldn’t shake DJT’s hand , have coffee or a meal with him. That speaks volumes to me. Problem is that intelligence alone doesn't prevent people from voting Trump. Even the dumbest person should be able to see what a despicable man Trump is. I know a lot of people who are pretty dumb, but they would never vote for Trump or Republican, because they see Trump for what he is. On the other hand I know people with phds who are going to vote for Trump, because they have no morals. Hillary was right, there is a basket of deplorables in the US and it turns out that's half the nation. Not just the 30% MAGA cultists, but anybody who is going to vote Trump is in my eyes a deplorable. And those who decide not to vote and don't mind Trump winning are almost as bad.

It's not what Trump's willing to say that scares me. It's what his supporters are willing to believe what he says that scares me.

Well I feel dumber for having watched this.

What’s funny is, you are famous for playing a guy that had a I don’t give a shit tough guy persona. What’s also funny to me, why do these actors think anyone gives two shits what they think. They lie about who they are on TV week after week for money and fame. That sucks you were always one of my favorite actors growing up. It brakes my heart, but I have to add you to my do not watch list.

I am concerned for my 3 children but I am no longer perplexed that approx. 50% of America is falling for Trump's arrogance, narcissism and ignorance just as much as Ed O'Neill, who grew up in an America where youngsters can see though that kind of BS. I want to say 'America, if you want Trump, have him. You have total freedom to vote for what you want, God bless you'. But then, I remember my kids live in this country too and worry for them. But another part of me is optimistic that America is not as dumb as MAGA and will come through.
