But honestly, I think if you're fighting in a basement, that's the last thing you'd be worried about. But it is something to think about.

Well, you have to be adaptable. This is one option of many, sometimes you don’t have a choice but to hunker down and fight like hell. House is surrounded, would you rather be in the crawlspace? Or above? Keep in mind you’ll either be directly in the fire and the projectiles being shot at you, or you’ll be on the 2nd floor inhaling the smoke, blind, and still about to burn, as you are being hit with bullets. Escape tunnels

Concrete block foundation does not equal poured concrete foundation. Green tips will not go through a poured concrete foundation. All these videos of guys shooting concrete blocks and then they report that a 5.56 will go through "concrete". Even the concrete used to make concrete blocks (nevermind the cavity in the middle) is totally different and far weaker than regular poured concrete.

I came looking for someone to bring this up. Thank you. About the only thing you would have to worry about behind 6" of poured concrete is a 50 cal. Lesser calibers could eventually chip through, but they are not just punching through.

Thats right... you cant be 100% invulnerable... If you're meant to die and its gods will... The enemy will find every chink in your armour or you'll be brought down by the simplest most ridiculously innocuous thing just so god can prove to you how little control over the physical realm we have and how little you put your faith in his protection. God is the strongest protection available. Many cannot even hope to protect themselves physically... Billions will need to rely on god. And they will be fine if they believe in his protection 🤍🤍🤍🙏🙏🙏

Don’t buy drum magazines. They’re incredibly unreliable, even the ones that cost upwards of $100. Instead buy 10- 40 round pmags. Get a mag link if you really want. Good to go.

Armor piercing rounds will cause backside shrapnel. The slug won’t go through but the shrapnel from the impact will still hit you. Concrete isn’t mailable.

@davidkuehne476 you dig in with enough supplies, there will be enough people work together to take that nest egg. There is a lot they can bring to bear they don't show in movies or on KZread, like big groups of people with dozers, excavators, tractors, stolen military vehicles, explosives and so on. A D6 Cat will open a lot of bunkers by remote even under suppressive fire

@disco4535 ?? I never said anything about anyone walking up to a house. I said burning it down would defeat the purpose of trying to take it in the first place. I think that if people descend to the point that they have to take someone's supplies they would be smart enough to watch for a while and see what they will deal with. It's a bonus if you catch a family member and hold them but most likely they would be attacked before they have a chance to get into that nest. I do see what you mean about destroying the place if they can't get to it but they would also have to consider whether they value their life more. There's honestly to many variables to consider such as terrain and how many people are in the house. It would only be a matter of time before the house falls unless you have a community that sticks together. Strength in numbers and all that.

Actually good advice. A crawl space like that is awesome. You could even have a few guys on the top floor to add a little chaos. Guys underneath can keep them from getting close, guys on top floor can get their share from a distance.

I wish, I’m on a slab foundation. Guess I’ll have to dig my bunker! 🤔😉
