Really hope since we got an ep from Jeres POV that we will be getting one from Conrad’s. I wanna see flashbacks that clarify what was going on with him during their break up scene, the funeral with Aubrey, sat in his dorm all sad looking at pictures of Belly.

We also got his explanation for Aubrey, though. He was having a panic attack and he crumbled. She only happened to find him and calm him down and since they were a couple before, I guess this was the only way she knew how.

She’s trying to force herself to get over Conrad and Taylor’s pushing is not helping. It's gonna get worse before it gets better. But remember she couldn't be with someone who doesn’t give her electric jolts…thats going to come back.
I love how much you love this show and this ship! It really shines through in all your vids about them and gives those vids such a magical quality ❤ It never gets tired watching each new TSITP vid from you, and I hope this show keeps inspiring you!

I just realized that Belly does seem like she has kind of moved on this season. The flashbacks make things confusing but she hasn’t really been trying to get with Conrad at all, mostly just Jere. Conrad is the one who’s been calling her his gf and stuff, but she’s shut him down quite a few times. Like she really is trying to move on I think. But breakups are hard, and it’s hard to immediately move past everything she once felt for Conrad.

But remember, season 2 is literally 5 days...its too fast to go from "why does he still have this hold on me. I don't want to see him, but i can't wait to" when shes thinking about Christmas and entering the Beach House," to omg, Jere is my future...choosing Jere is a matter of artificial safety and its easy like Steven says in the finale. It's an 18 year old reaction to mistaking safely and close friendship for love because Jere is a good kisser and Jere is "extra" in his relationships with everyone because he always wants to outshine his brother. Belly is definitely not over Conrad, but Belly built Conrad up to be this unrealistic thing and then when he wasn't able to share with her emotionally (even though its crazy that she hates on him so much for being emotionally isolated when she saw how he was even the summer before when he was the only one who knew bout Susannah and how it effects him), and she's the one who said "Its over" (although she seems to try to make it seem like he broke up with her, which he didn't). Belly and Jere's entire relationship (even though it lasts for a while if we follow the books) was always built on a shaky foundation that was only safe from showing the cracks when Conrad stayed away because unfortunately for Jere, Steven is right...Belly isn't just dance parties and sing alongs and fun like Jere.....she's deeper and she innately loves Conrad.

@@blairzey11 Great summary love it and could't agree more. I do believe the love btw Jere and Belly is sincere, but for me it also gives more vibes of comforting each other during bad times and rather friends with some loning. There is nothing wrong with wanting to go an easier road for now which is the case for Jere and Belly right now. But as you said, Conrad and Belly share this constant deep connection even without being with each other. Belly definiely put Conrad on a podestel, everyone did with Conrad and when he broke down he destroyed their vision of him and Belly and eveyone else didn't know how to handle that. Conrad and Belly defiintely bring out the best in one another. Belly wants to be more mature, try and learn new things bc of Conrad and Conrad wants to be happy, genuie and loving just for Belly. He also holds back a lot on the fact how clever and smart he is, but not with Belly, bc Belly always loved that abt him. They just complete each other in the best ways. Jere and Belly will help each other through tough times now, but it's already clear why they won't work in the long run you can see the signs. They will be better again as friends.
