  Tolkein's character arc of Sauron is profound enough so that this TV series accidently made him the best character of season 1, in an otherwise lousy show. Sauron convinced the producers to keep the show confused about who Halbrand might be for at least 1, maybe 2 episodes, cast him with some heartbreak appeal, quietly supernatural, and then allowed acting and stage presence to overshadow the other characters, and by the time the audience knew who he was, they were rooting for him anyway. As the writing goes, when God placed a barrier between the heavens and the earth, only navigable by the elves, he also took away Sauron's ability to assume a fair form. It will come as no surprise when they rest season 2 on the shoulders of Tolkein's title character.

  Okay I had so many mixed emotions about this show it creeped me out on so many levels but I felt sympathy for Henry and Clare at different points in time too I’m so conflicted 😐

  i had a really good friend of mine, we used to talk often through texts, an online friend maybe suddenly the other one left the country we met twice or thrice including one before leaving the country i had so much attachment, i couldn't let them go and suddenly i found this movie out of nowhere and this is the beautiful movie that taught me about people relationship and patience and ofcourse this clip is somewhere i keep coming back to feel grateful for the memory we had together so much grateful this movie exists, i had a very heavy heart remembering by friend while watching this movie, but this movie has just made me feel the strongest and look forward for a positive days ahead
