Now I'm even more excited for the Venture Ready Sling 2.5L review. Seems to me it's something I've always been looking for, a compact sling to keep my pockets empty, especially so with a dedicated mini laptop sleeve for a phone.

This seemed like the perfect EDC hip pack for me as I don't carry too much. Loved all the organization and dedicated protected phone area. But once I got it I realized that all that organization comes at a cost. Like you could see in this video, once you have a phone in there the main compartment barely has any room. Compared to my other belt bags of similar size, I could fit waaaay more in the others like the Lululemon/Fjallraven. I ended up returning it which really bummed me out. If you are looking for a hip belt in this size range I think there are better options.

How do you feel about the magnetic lock after some time of using it? In my experience, it's not very secure cause of some accidental bumps in the crowd rush could lead to unlocking it and the bag fall down (((

That sucks, we don’t want our valuables accidentally lost because of the lock
Does anyone have a recommendation for a sling bag this size and rugged?

Helikon Tex Possum? There's also the og Fjallraven high coast hip pack. Hyperlight Vice Versa is prob the most rugged though.
Do you have a Playlist for crossbody backpack?

Hi, what is your experience with these hip/sling/fanny packs for airline travel? Do they really count as personal attire, rather than a personal item? Thank you!

From personal experience I’ve traveled with a small sling across my chest while carrying a backpack and an additional rolling luggage. Never been stopped. Regardless something this small could always be placed inside the backpack if they say anything.
Could this fit a kindle paperwhite? 🤔

No
@Pack Hacker Reviews how much space it is? about 0.5L?
Suggestion re terminology: instead of saying there is a "hole" where two zipper ends meet, call it a gap.
