    Come clean. Everyone get in trouble, just don’t lie. I think Silva had good reason to cheat to help repair his terrible injury though. I believe even chael said before if he injured himself like Silva he would take anything legal or not to fix a severe break like that.

    This interview and a couple of earlier, recent, changed my mind about Chael for good. I never thought of him as a true and humble person. The image he has created of himself was rather negative, at least for me. Now I look at him with the brighter and accomplished eye. God speed, Chael! And it comes from a Fedor die hard fan.

    Chael was so close to having wins over Silva and Jon Jones (for different reasons ofc) and he has a chance to beat Fedor. Imagine if he had gotten those 3 wins. Yeah he probably would have lost the inevitable rematches against Silva and Jones, but still.

    He always gives in. He has been stopped a bunch of time but never with a KO. I think wresters are tough at grinding and cutting weight but they seem to get used to losing.

    I love Chael's humble attitude and sportsmanship. I wish American fighters would emulate his attitude better. Humble people grow and improve whether they win or lose. Id love to see Chael interview Fedor in the wake of the fight. Regardless of the outcomes of the fights Chael will always be known and remembered as a great man.

    Hands down best Chael Sonnen interview I've personally seen, except when he said there were fixed fights... I hope that fights are never fixed, the possibility is there, but I competed and trained back in the day and the pride that I had, at that time, I woulda never let a fight be fixed.. I hope fighters have more self respect then that... everything else Chael mentioned I agree with... very respectful interview.

    Again, he never said fighters we're in on the fix. He specifcally said the winners were left unaware. This isn't speculation. This happened. Fighters who did the Japanese circuit have confirmed this, and there are very obvious examples. Nobuhiko Takada owned Pride FC; he was a wrestler, and the promotor. He himself participated in clearly fixed bouts.

    For a man who is about to get into the cage with Fedor he's totally so easy going. He's a pure realist,,,not enough credit even to him,he's intelligent and a hard grafter which says alot in today's game. He always has a word to say regarding other fighters as he knows fighters and how to fight and the dynamics involved. Plus he's damn entertainment. I wish him well. Not enough credit bestowed on him.

    Really like that he bring Barnett in the greatest HW's conversation ! JOSH is criminally forgotten and quite underrated when it come to mention the top 5 ! Josh beat most of the best of his era (except Kharitonov Werdum and Fedor).... he got a better resume than Cain/cro cop ( even with his 3 losses against him 😤) !!! Only JDS Nog and Werdum (it's debeatable) have better resume than him at HW's

    pride had different rules. elbows were not allowed on the ground but soccer kicks and stomps were allowed on down opponents. and it is different to fight in a ring then to fight in a cage. BTW in case you don't know Fedora just beat frank MIT in 48 seconds.
