Great piece of family history! I'll be taking my 16yr son to the area soon! So excited! Love what your doing here too! I've been across Canada several times...and if it weren't for the small towns...oof...long lonely drive!! Lol have fun! I'm in not-so-small-anymore Orillia.

Lived in St. John in mid sixties when I was 10 years old. Have fun memories of that time. It was very underdeveloped. If you get a chance, go a town called Flat Rock. You can walk way out on a spit of land that is very rocky and has ocean on both sides. Always wanted to go to Bell isle. Enjoy your holiday to N.L.

Bell Island was not created as Canada sight. It galls me but that's my opinion. Great tutorial history
