Hi thanks for the review, do you know what's the ethernet speed on this dock?

This is great and will work with my mac. I also want to use my work laptop which is a dell and has usb3 with the dock. I've tried the WD19TB but when connected to USB3 on the dell the thunderbolt output port on the dock does not work. Any idea if this is the same with this dock? hope that makes sense

I’ve just watched many of your reviews to help me choose a new thunderbolt 3 dock for my MBP 2018! And I have to say, this video was great! You did improve so much since your first videos! Congratulations and keep rocking ! Also, does this Belkin dock can support 144hz with a 1440p/144hz monitor ? I saw it is Display port 1.4, it def’ should work, but I don’t have it :p

As for your question on the 144hz monitor I can't tell you for sure as I don't own a monitor that is able to do more than 60hz, this is one product on my bucket list to purchase in the future for testing docks (sorry I know I'm in the tech world but don't really game much at all so hadn't need to purchase a fast monitor personally).

Hi, how is the heating on the MacBookPro Intel when it is using both monitors + the laptop screen? I'm looking for this docking station to reduce heating on the laptop.

My MacBook Air M1 is in standby-mode and closed. Do I really have to open and close it again to turn in on while connected to the dock? Is there no other option to turn it on?

14 inch MacBook Pro M1 Max, the one you have will work the same way.

Personally I like this Belkin a little bit more over the WD19TB for these reasons, more USB Type-A ports, SD Card slot and the USB-C uplink cable can be replaced or you can purchase a longer length one, hope that assist in your decision José Luis Jiménez Arévalo. Also warning as of right now 22nd Jan 2021 if you going to connect an M1 Macbook to both WD19TB or Belkin TB3 dock it won't display dual monitors. I think Apple atm has broken dual display via thunderbolt on the new M1 macs.

I am getting you are wanting more ports from this Mac Mini? If you are trying to get dual extended monitor on the mac mini with connecting this dock I am not 100% it will do it, very high problity it can if you connect the Mac Mini M1 thunderbolt port to the uplink thunderbolt port on the back of the dock (which has the computer icon on it), connect one monitor through the dock and the second monitor has to be connected directly to the HDMI port on the back of the Mac Mini. Connecting both monitors via the dock I doubt will work since this seems to be a limitation on the M1 chip.

The front usb c port 3.2 gen 2 u mean 10Gbps one? As usb 3 naming is so damn confusing. So put it simple; is it 5 10 or 20 Gbps?

Hi would it be possible to use the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock to connect 2 monitors and then connect a 3rd monitor directly to the macbook on another free port. So 2 monitors coming from the Belkin Dock and 1 monitor connected directly to Macbook Pro 2019. Total of 3 external monitors? Thanks for the answer and clear video!

Hi Simon, yes you can, connect two via the dock and the third monitor directly to the macbook pro 2019, that will work.

@@BsianTech Just one additional question: I have a Macbook pro 2019 i7: if I understand correctly I can connect 2 monitors to the Belking TB and then 1 monitor to a free port directly on the macbook. Would the Macbook 'understand' this setup? Dont I require displaylink? The Apple website says 2 external monitors are supported for this macbook. So this limitation would not apply when using the Belkin in combination with 1 direct connection to the macbook? thanks for your help!

@Lukas 3d, I haven't tried to connect two Apple thunderbolt monitors to this dock before but I suspect it should work. Connect one thunderbolt monitor to the dock then daisy chain the second monitor to the first monitor. Of course this is assuming your laptop/desktop has thunderbolt.

Thanks wrong there ar only 4 USB 3.0 at the back !
