But I thought that Vandals were European! When Carthage fought the final battle to defend Carthage itself, they had only the military factions native to North Africa available. [I base what I say on memories from reading a paperback my father gave me titled "Hannibal".]

OK, sorry.... I get it. This battle isn't perfectly historical... you are just using historical units from the approximate time period, and placing them to make for an entertaining battle. (...my elevated expectations!)

The Vandals might have won the battle if Gelimer had not lost heart and fled when his brother was killed in the battle. The Vandals were winning the first battle until that happened.

Amazing! It seems things moving in a chaotic action, but in reality there is a well calculated attack method being used through a systematic forward move toward the impact against the enemy. Even the way they are running forward to face the enemy by having in our attention the way positioning their head and their forward speed - it is all based on well calculated tactics. That itself needs days and months of training. I find this video very educational in learning the skill being used during wars of the past in the old days.

Belisarius was a warfare master which command in battle , also was quite loyal as Fablius Aetius too .

I'm still waiting for a Parthian Seleucid war For example that battle in which Mithridates I the great defeated a Seleucid army and captured the Seleucid king Demetrius II Badass battle though I loved it

Vandals are originating from part of western Scandinavia. They were from West Sweden and SE Norway. It has something to do with Väner lake region Väner(n) lake's earliest name is *Vendiz "the turner". Then Vandals earliest name becomes logical, VendilaR, "smaller tribe from Väner realm". Some typical looks, that you also find in N Portugal and Brazil is like Lena Ranehag, Nathalie Hagman, Rebecka Blomqvist, Fridolina Rolfö, Johanna (Gudrun) icelandic singer etc..They certainly all have roots in the Väner lake kingdom *Vendiz...

Total annihalation,and I think Belisarius destroyed another Vandal force - which pretty much finished off the Vandals. The Vandal king Gelimer surrendered to Belisarius,and was sent back to Constantinople.Then it was onto Rome.to deal with the Goths....

La battaglia di Ad decimum, Belisario cancellò i vandali dalla storia. Gelimero tentò di attaccare da tre lati i romani, ma i tre attacchi non furono coordinati e nonostante avesse un numero enorme di soldati fu sconfitto.

If these Vandals were the well experienced, hardened veteran Vandals of Genseric's day they would have obliterated the Byzantines, but these Vandals were soft, lacking training/war-fighting experience and poorly lead!!
