Willem Dafoe was fascinated by his character Marcus. And according to a person on the set, he was always making suggestions for how his character should be played and trying to provide a backstory for Marcus. But since Marcus was killed his suggestions weren't used which I think was very sad. As much as I like John Wick, I find Marcus more fascinating. I wish they kept him for the series. ❤️💔😢
