Belgrade is a fresh band from Barcelona (Spain) playing post-punk, which is inspired by such bands as Xmal Deutchland, Siouxie and the Banshees, Killing Joke, Paralisis Pernamente or even (sic!) They probably put their music video on vhs tape and then digitalized it again (judging by the head switching noise on the very bottom of the video that distorts it somewhat)

Could be, but you can also make such effects using digital processing. The problem is that most people do it wrong, so it doesn't look as real as here.

I am from Serbia. Belgrade is the capital city of Serbia. I know that it is not the only city in the world that is called that. That's the first thing that confuses me. The second thing I noticed right away was the sound. This band was definitely modeled after the German band X-Mal Deutschland. They even visually resemble a singer. I like the way they sound.

It was this kind of energy and excitement that kept us oldies through the sh*t that was the early 80s! Brilliant to hear it now we're having to cope with the existential disaster zone that is the 2020s (sometimes I wonder why I bothered surviving the last 40s years...) Band is excellent.
