Coming back to this legendary match, probably the best of the whole World Cup that year. Japan played such a beautiful footbal, with a great mindset, and put our Belgian players in huge danger, which led them to become absolute beasts for the comeback. The whole game was breathtaking, huge respect to Japan for being the best opponent against Belgium since a long time !

Japan had great performances both editions. This edition they defeated 2 giants in the group(Germany and Spain) and finnished the group on the first place. You see this is when you need masterful and experienced players with an ability to quickly read situations. The moment the distribution was made by the 'keeper to KDB and he (the defender) ran after him. He should have been able to read the potential danger and quickly "take one for the team". Do it early and you only get a yellow card but do it late and you are guaranteed to walk.

Congratulations Belgium and well played Japan. Very clean game, no bullshit acting, no fouls, no diving. Japan went down with honour, noone can be ashamed with how they played today. Honestly I was really rooting for Japan to win this, it was SO DAMN close and they played with their hearts out, that last minute goal must of been absolutely heartbreaking. Also the height difference was just too much during those headers. Definitely one of the best games this tournament, was so entertaining to watch. In the end this is what soccer is all about!! 👍

I had seen death note recently and was listening to its music during this match. I vividly remember listening to the end credits song, it was almost a full moon. I was rooting for Japan to win. I was rooting for the underdog. It almost happened till the end where the result was quickly altered. I often come here to watch this epic match's highlights since then. Tomorrow the next world cup begins. It's been four years; time flies.

Still one of the best match in World Cup 🤯

for포 I'm honestly surprised by all Asian countries performance at this world cup, really i didn't imagine them to go this far, meanwhile, i expected African teams just like Morocco, Egypt, Tunisie, ...etc and European countries, specially Germany, to play well and they didn't.
