Adam rapa's flexibility is one of the best in my opinion
Really tough piece to play as a trumpet solo. And I have to give a lot of credit to the accompanying brass. They were outstanding.
One has to wonder how on earth he can get around the extended range of the trumpet with such versatilty! Astounding! Also, full credit to the accompanying brass players.

If I had ever played like that they would had me take a urine test after the competition. I watch him play and no matter the register he looks relaxed playing.

It appears that high register trumpet playing has a lot to do with the coordinated raising of the eyebrows.

Amazing how he can play so passionately without closing his eyes for extended periods of time!

I honestly think he sounds better on this Monette trumpet, than his current Lotus instruments....

4 valves mean you have an extra button to go a quarter tone down

@@tobieeck9676 This particular fourth valve isn't a quarter tone value- it's a substitute combination for 1+3, which allows you to play a fourth lower than you normally would be able to.

Nah, just reminds me why I kept it as a hobby......these top percentile players aren’t there by accident. 😊
I watch clips of him playing with the Lotus trumpet and then I watch this clip of him playing with this Tantra Monette trumpet I'll tell you this Monette looks like it's a lot easier to play than the lotus

Maybe a bit, but I have to say I enjoy his sound a bit more on Lotus. His more recent videos of him with the corno brass ensemble, for example. Perhaps his technique has faltered a bit more recently as well.

Moritz Gottschall Die Trompete wurde von Monette gefertigt. Bei denen kannst du alles kriegen, sind aber sau teuer.

Honestly the drum set seemed out of place in general, but for most of it it wasn't too bad.
