100% agree. people are always telling me, I wont find a husbane if I dont start looking and dating. Thing is I dont want to find 'a' husbane, I want the husbane God has planned for me. Why mess around with a bunch of guys I know are not him, when I could be spending that time devoted to God. I looked and dated plenty enough before I became a christian and while I learnt a bunch of lesson, I agree with you and believe it's wiser to spend my time now working on myself and my identiy, so that when my husbane does come along, I will be prepared and ready to give him my best! Dont waste your single years girls.. you dont need to have the same attitude about singlehood as the world does. Change your perspective about it and it will change your motives!! x0x

I screamed when I saw the title of this video!!!!!! 😲😲😲 I'm 18, and I'm single by choice because I believe God had a specific purpose for my life. I also decided to take a vow of purity when I was 13. And my friends are alllwwwaayyyysss telling me "girl you're young and in college, date and have some fun" and I'm like nooooooo. This is exactly how you mess stuff up 😂😂 and God knows specifically what he has for me. Like I'm literally screaming my head of right now 😂😂 this is just confirmation on top of confirmation.

The easiest way to meet and marry an appointed spouse is to focus first on our relationship with Lord Jesus Christ. We do this by prayers, fastings and the reading of the Word, in order to receive and practice His kindness towards everyone around us. This works because, in the Lord's eyes, a couple who haven't met yet are still one complete Man [male and female] before Him. An appointed spouse will start to receive and practice the kindness of God as well. And will be led eventually to their own husband or wife. I know this works because this is what I did to meet my lovely wife. We've been happily married now for 22 years. It's so unfortunate that there's such a lack of knowledge in the Church on how to meet an appointed spouse. It doesn't have to be this way.

You have some profound wisdom.

When I was single I had an ideal image of what my wife would look like, what she'd be like, and we'd hit it off with fireworks. And sure enough my first girlfriend post college SEEMED to fit the bill. I just "KNEW" it was God's answer for my wife. I was so full of hormones I was temporarily insane. Literally! Six months later she tore my heart out by betraying me for a new boyfriend, calling me unfit to be with her, and saying all this on the phone assuring me talking about it would do no good. I was emotionally devastated! Then God said to me want to do things my way? I now am married to the wife God knew I needed, not a woman of the world I thought I wanted!

Thank you for this! One of my girls always tells me date date date, go see what you like and don’t like, get a free meal, and I always think and say no! That’s taking advantage of a man and that man is someone’s son and deserves respect. Also, I know I’ll get attached. I don’t want to keep attaching and then “unattaching.” Also, God’s judgement is 100000% better than mine, and He knows the kind of man that will suit me even 50 years from now - I can’t possibly know that. So I won’t just go out with any and everybody that asks. I’m glad you made this video because I feel more justified in feeling that way. We will be fools before the world and wise before God.🙏🏽

I agree wholeheartedly, being single also gives you that time for spiritual growth and understanding. That is the season I'm in and it's been a blessing. God will give you peace in your singleness especially if you have faith and trust in God to provide. Just remember too keep God first in your marriage if God's will is to bless you this way. I've learned so much over the last several months by reading His word. All I can say again is keep the faith and trust in God.

So true! I have always felt that ''putting yourself out there'' is super desperate and people do not understand it is actually toxic. Sadly the world has tricked us into this belief that there is something wrong with you when you are not in a relationship. You can not seek for validation from someone else. First find yourself and then all the right things, including marriage, come!

It's really weird but last year every date that I went on never went past the 2nd date. I found myself thinking was I talking to much or is it because I'm plus size I couldn't understand what I was doing wrong. Then I realized that God was pushing them away because it wasn't park of his plan. Maybe you need to visit different areas, try dating people that like plus size women. Have you visited a baptist church? Believe it or not but many people look past our imperfections, because of the joy they receive from us.

We may live in this world with choices but living & having above all a good relationship with God is the 1st & above all the very 1st choice. Trust me... I made not 1 but 2 poor choices & God didn't bring us together cause if he did I wouldn't have 2 broken marriages. I tried so very much as I listened to my 1st husband telling me I drove him to drink & the abuse was getting bad. I went for counseling & learned I didn't put the alcohol in his mouth. Then I wanted to be with someone that I thought loved me but a marriage won't work when 1 believes in Christ & the other doesn't but let's put a tree up & etc etc... He didn't understand my love for Christ & got jealous. He was in drugs & got abusive with me. I found out a lot about him & it was heartbreaking... Now I'm alone but thank God for my children, provision he gives me. I'm HIS BRIDE & learned the very hard way. Know what you talked "just because I'm single doesn't mean I'm available.... I keep seeing this message. Second time I heard it this week. Same verse about Eve being presented to Adam. I needed to hear this.

I just came across Allyson's videos yesterday - one of them popped up in my feed. I'm 36 (turning 37 in a few months). The past several years have been very difficult - not just regarding being single but other areas, as well. Over the course of the last 2 or 3 years, the Lord has brought me to a place where I'm truly confident that He will bring me together with the right man at the right time. HE knows what is best. In the meantime, I choose to continue to grow in Him, enjoy life, enjoy the people, situations, and things He's brought to my life. I don't want to look back on these years, once I'm happily married, and realize that I wasn't truly present, that I missed out on moments or didn't appreciate relationships and situations because in the back of my mind I was constantly waiting for someone and feeling incomplete. I'm not constantly looking for "the one." I go about my business, I am myself - not trying to impress anyone but working at being the best version of myself - and it'll happen when it happens. The things Allyson says are an awesome confirmation of the things God has been teaching me over the last several years. He is so good, so kind, and so faithful! Plus, as a woman, it's great to see a stylish, beautiful chick who is bold, confident, outspoken, doesn't care what anybody thinks, AND looks cute doing it! LOL!
