Congratulations man! that's awesome man!
Great video man. My dad recently became a trucker around the same time as you and it is very interesting to me. Keep up the hard work man and make that money.
_wow, eye opener, thanks for sharing your experiences Bro, keep it up_ 💪🏼💪🏼
Thank you so much for this! I've been thinking of going with Roehl for awhile now, especially doing the Northeast dedicated fleet, but it's the home time that's holding me back. I agree 34 hours is not enough and I could never do over the road being out weeks at a time.
Alot of days where your driving pretty much 11 hours 😂 i love it tho. Glad to see your still in it👍🏼. The pay off at the end will be great
good for you in getting the license to make support money for yourself. the next step is deciding what profession you might want to move into in a few years once your interests change.
Dude thanks for giving me a space to park for the night at the chelmsford rest area last night i really appreciate you..

You’re welcome man, my bad if I was all pissed off, I’m on a crap load. Be safe out there 🤙🏼
Good vid, wish I had the patience to be a trucker.
good man. I am thinking of jumping on HGV but I am in UK.
ive done over the road and regional and imo regional is more pressure with clock and can be more work in a day than otr but u most likely will make more and go home every week, vs otr is a little less pressure but u might only go home once a month , regional tho u learn the roads and good ways to go while otr is mostly random places so u will run into trouble from adverse conditions about road closures and the drama of goin to a place the first time
Before you shut it down for good, you eventually need to run all 48 states. There are some sights to see through the windshield that will really make you love your job. Stay safe and keep the shiny side up, and the greasy side down.

Come to Columbus, Ohio Gerb!
Hi I see your videos and I have a question you have k24 at the civic si and I have k24a on my civic si 2009 which serpentine belt number I can use I have the parts from k20z3 the water housing stocks parts from the old engine but I don’t know and I have to replace can you help me with that please
i been truckin itll be 3 years in a month and u cant try to think u are right or know something , because u dont know enough to to work that way and things change without reason so trying to be right leads to being wrong , u have to take each and every thing as it comes and assess each scenario then decide ,
aye come to blue beacon truck wash in fort wayne indiana between 8am-4pm and you’ll see my black 8th gen civic si there❤️❤️

I was excited to Join Roehl but I’m disappointed they don’t cover travel to get to Wisconsin for training.. I mean, I could pay for a plane ticket and rental car but that is beside the point.. Most trucking companies pay for travel.. The recruiters told me they don’t cover travel. A plane ticket and rental car is cheap today.

They offered me a plane ticket to Conley GA, but I chose to take my car. They paid for plenty of plane tickets and hotels. But, I get it. Alot of people coming into trucking at the beginning don’t have the most money.. Maybe they decided to make some changes.

@@TheGerbsteve They must have probably because air fares are high but the lady I talked to she was a recruiter she told me I’m responsible for my travel plans to get to Wisconsin.. I just got other expenses right now to take care of was shocked when she told me
its deffinetly not as easy as people think and when driving east coast or chicago or anywhere with road work u will be tested and not everyone has the skills
I just signed up with Roehl, waiting for my appt. for DOT physical. And I am preparing myself mentally for how hard it's going to be. I feel it's something I need to do because working for $10 an hour sucks. The woman I spoke with said they only have flatbed or reefer. Maybe that's just my area, I'm in Ohio.

Making big moves 🤙🏼.. see what the pay difference is for each. You will be working A LOT more physically with flatbed, but each have their pros vs cons.

I agree with everything you said detention sucks and 34 to short. But how is training others drivers? PS: if you cold don’t snuggle to close you can loose a mirror 😂 😂. Enjoy life bro hope to see you soon.

Training wasn’t for me. $60/day for training someone else and not being in control of vehicle yourself. I’ll be sure to stay far clear of you next time 🤣. You do the same, see you out there.
What about the Hometime Plus they advertise for time off?
