😊 Yes, being half Japanese, speaking the language and growing up in Japan and the United States, I must switch gears and speaking Japanese or English. There are things that are lost in translation by either cultures. So I must change those things that I present in each culture in order to fit in. Whether I'm in either Nation, I can never fully share everything that is a part of me because it is lost in translation by the other culture.

I love these interviews. The world is a much bigger place than most of the commenters here realize.
When she said “half Italian-Irish” I knew she was basically half American
She's so cute and bubbly!!!
How many home runs did this Bambino hit in her career? I doubt it was 714.
Mixed Japanese seem very attractive
“goes to la” “lives the same exact life as japan”
Japanese culture is lovely in many ways

The most comfortable place for people to be is the place they feel most accepted for who they are. That is not always the culture in which they were raised. There are many interviews on this channel with immigrants to Japan who will never move away.

You sound... too "OUT THERE..."
Hahaha your name sounds like "cute baby" when translated into English.
Shes gorgeous
Once you go back and compare the cost of living… you will have 2nd thought
My girl. She told the truth. In USA, go wild. 🇺🇸🦅
Isn’t bambino one of the Mob family
Lina is very beautiful! As the American poet Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote in ‘To Rhodora’: “If eyes were made for seeing, then beauty is its own excuse for being”.
Half Japanese and half Italian and Irish from LA= Half White American and Japanese
"Out there"...as in..what ??
My Japanese wife says, she speaks Japanese very fluently!
what a beauty east meets west
Best last name on the show
Her surname is funny - because it means in Italian "a baby" (a child).

i recently learned most surnames came from occupations so it wouldn't surprise me if their ancestors took care of children or worked as midwifes potentially. don't quote me on that but ever since I learned that I like to play this game with all last names even when it doesnt apply

@@pyrojkl Yes, many of the surnames indeed have originated from various professions. But also for instance from locations, some personal characteristics, features or nicknames, family associations etc.

@@pyrojkl The surname Bambino is very rare in Italy, there are only 70 families with that surname, the surname Bambini is more widespread (about 900 families), but they are still considered uncommon surnames. They are medieval surnames born as a sign of devotion towards baby Jesus (Gesù bambino) or his mother Mary as a baby (Maria bambina).
