Being Diagnosed With Multiple Sclerosis : My Story

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in July of 2015. It is my hope that I can bring more awareness to MS, and reach out to anyone who might be struggling with their own diagnosis. Thanks for watching!

There is lots of options for keeping in remission. Massage therapy, cranial sacral therapy, chiropractor, low carb Paleo/keto type diet, positive energy reiki sessions.... They can all help with the healing and keeping of remission. Stress makes MS worst so stay away from stress. Also yoga and stretching helps me. Vitamins of course vitamins d, magnesium, all omegas and cod liver oil or flaxseed oils are good for brain. Good health ❤❤❤

I am so sorry you are still trying to get a diagnosis!! That is soooo hard. I feel very fortunate that my diagnosis was quick, I know often it takes years. 💜💜💜 How are you doing?

I am waiting for a diagnosis, for years, lots of tests this year especially with a Neurologist. I feel my Neurologist is very thorough, and I trust him completely. For him, I am very thankful. But the waiting is horrible, feeling in limbo is very difficult.

Just came across your video. I was diagnosed last summer. My first symptom was also optic neuritis & my story is very similar! When my ophthalmologist said I most likely had optic neuritis I had no clue what that was & asked him what pharmacy I could pick up my steroids at 🤣. The second he told me I needed to go to the hospital, I lost it! Thank you for sharing your journey!

Hi, thank you for making this video, I am going through the exact same thing that you described in this video and I'm struggling with it all. I haven't been officially diagnosed with ms yet but the neurologist I have which is not great unfortunately, wants me to start on copaxone injections 7 days a week and I'm terrified. I just had a neck and chest MRI last night and the waiting for results is going to drive me crazy. I'm just so scared.

So sorry to hear about your fiance. To treat the optic neuritis they gave me an IV steroid for 3 days which took care of it. As far as meds, I'm taking Aubagio to manage MS.

Please search vitamin d protocol north America on Facebook. I have been on a high vitamin d protocol that has halted disease activity for me. Please look into it!

Lighting may not be the best, but, nonetheless, you look marvelous! So sweet and personable, too!! Fortunately, you are still fairly young and relatively early. Time will be the key, of course, depending upon your exact circumstance and MS type. Your husband will be most important as the future unfolds for you. (Hopefully, you have developed a lasting bond while you are still this highly desirable!)

+George Kafantaris you're right, I am young and newly diagnosed. I'm very aware of what this disease is capable of, and have seen first hand what can happen. I also believe and choose to stay positive and try to do everything I can to stay as healthy as possible, knowing I might not always be as fortunate as I am now. I wish you the best, and hope you find peace and comfort.
