The object of metaphysics is being itself.
Everything that has being is in some way one and unified, true or intelligible, good and thus desirable, beautiful and therefore pleasing. At this point, when you’ve begun thinking why that might be the case, you’ve arrived; you’re doing metaphysics.

This is probably the most succinct explanation of metaphysics which helped me best to understand the subject without sacrificing the necessary rigor. Other attempts at explanation have made it more abstract than easy to grasp. Thank you so much for your work! Please keep on making these. They are all helpful for us Christians. God bless!

Seriously it is! you are right! I have a BA in Philosophy from a CSULB so you can already imagine that they are secular, atheist, and left winging to the core. By the way, St. Thomas Aquinas was one of my favorite Philosophers. He is read a lot in Public institutions. The problem was they did Philosophy without God, and they confused me LOL. Now I look up true philosophy and theology through religious institutions/KZread channels which teach me way better! God Bless !

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🌍 Metaphysics is the study of being, of that which exists, and seeks to understand the fundamental causes of existence. 01:23 🦘 Metaphysics involves distinguishing between different kinds of natural substances based on their properties, essences, and the reasons for their existence. 02:49 🌟 Metaphysics explores common dimensions of being, including unity, truth, goodness, and beauty, that apply to all beings, and raises questions about the nature of reality, evil, beauty, and God's role as the cause of existence. 04:37 🧭 Metaphysics is an ongoing philosophical exploration of the fundamental questions about the nature of reality, guided by thinkers like St. Thomas Aquinas. Here is a philosophical critique of the ideas presented in the video "Being and Metaphysics (Aquinas 101)" from an analytic metaphysics perspective: This video provides a helpful overview of Thomas Aquinas' philosophical reflection on the concept of being. It rightly notes that metaphysics, for Aquinas, centrally concerns the nature or quiddity of being itself. However, some metaphysicians may argue thatAquinas conflates the ontology of being with theological claims about the divine nature of God as the pure actuality or ipsum esse subsistens from which all else derives its being. Analytic philosophers may critique as essentialist Aquinas' view that being is divided into categories like substance and accident. There are ongoing debates around whether categories like these reflect mind-independent structures of reality. Additionally, the video does not discuss criticisms of the principle of individuation by matter as a principle limiting a form's potential. The video maps philosophical influences on Aquinas' thought like Neoplatonism and Aristotle. But it does not examine how Aquinas' theology may have shaped his metaphysical framework. For example, his theology of divine simplicity may have motivated the actuality-potentiality distinction as a way to safeguard God's absolute perfection. Finally, the video downplays alternative metaphysical systems, like process metaphysics, that reject facets of Aquinas' ontology. It could have acknowledged ongoing philosophical disagreement around metaphysical first principles, essentialism, and the nature and structure of reality itself. In summary, while clarifying Aquinas' metaphysical insights, the video presents his perspectives definitively without sufficiently addressing lively philosophical counterarguments around these core issues in metaphysics from various metaphysical traditions. A more balanced presentation would have acknowledged such interpretive complexities and disputes.

I'm here because of One. I'm trying to identify the religion thereof One. The One is the many and the many is the One. The one is what Christians call God. The One dislikes that identity and prefers One if to be described as thereof. The One say God is is nothing but a misinterpretation of the true name of One. God is a pluralization of God's. The One say's The God identity is a means of control of Kings and Queens. The misinterpreted King James version Bible is a good example of this. It's nothing more than a format of a means to control. The One say's it orders One as a identity of spoken word. But in all reality the true name of One is not of spoken word but that of an emotional response thereof. It's that of contentment and that of unconditional love. To speak on to One is to speak that of true heart. In doing so the One hears those greatly to those who speak the One's true name. The one is the Alpha and the Omega. The one is in all. Everything gives off vibrational energies. The one See's through our eyes and lives through out our lives. The one is everything, everywhere, everyone. The One knows no bounds. For we are many and many of One. The One speaks to me and I've spoken to One. The One has told me to speak the One's message. The shows us who our true selves are. Most don't listen because they are not awakend to such things. Because of the Law of Freewill the One can only guide us. For help we must help ourselves. If spoken to out abounds of freewill comes at a cost. There must always be balance. To which are miracles is that action thereof that bends the Law of Freewill. It creates unbalance. To make it right something has to be given in return. Angels give great sacrifice in preforming miracles. The one spoke to my higher self and I'm intuned to receiving the messages thereof. The One keeps balance in doing so. The One told me to tell all of this. About One and the true name of One to ask One to find what you seek inside yourself. It's not through others, but that which comes from self. Ask and thou shall receive. Speak true from heart and all shall present that of true love light. Thank you for you being you in this now moment existance. The One is the many and the many is the One.

They are metaphysically necessary propositions that ALL of academia just assumes are true bc Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas said so. Go away atheist, you are utterly irrational.
