Can you tell me if being a nurse or a data scientist is better career and a well paying one

Hi Aldriya! I have never looked into data scientists and have never heard of that! LOL! Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer your question on that. :(
I will be starting nursing school in October of this year. Talk about being nervous. I will be starting a whole new career as a nurse, and I'm in my late 50s going back to school. Any words of advice?

That is so exciting! I personally had many 40 & 50+ year olds in my nursing class and quite frankly they were some of the best students! Much more mature and wanting to learn :) I would advise that if you get behind seek counsel right away from a teacher or tutor. The knowledge keeps building on itself so if you do not understand one thing you will continue to be confused when learning the next.

Prospective nursing students beware !!! I went to nursing school late in life and it was a disaster. There were teachers who would help students to succeed and then there were teachers who concentrated on making it unnecessarily difficult. I’ve found many nursing instructors have an unwarranted high opinion of themselves and want to see students suffer and fail. Nursing isn’t difficult if you are in a school that employs people with teaching ability. Having a degree doesn’t make you a qualified and competent teacher.

Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience, but I would argue there's plenty of great instructors out there!
