Hi there! You can apply for personal liability insurance & no LLC is needed!

I am not required to report to a medical director as I simply work for a church friends family. I have one client and that it is! As far as business structure, are you looking for how I came up with the amount I charge?

You can apply for personal liability insurance and I would start looking into that! I personally do not have it but my mom who worked as a private duty nurse did have it.

@AndreaEnriquez-q5d a contract was written up prior to charting and a give the family a monthly progress note and keep them updated via telephone. I have no actual "charting" I need to do.
Thanks for the information. I am going back to school for nursing and want to do private duty. I've been a nurse aide over 10 years. I also a home health aide. How much nursing experience before trying to become a privat duty nurse?

Good question! With your background, I would argue you'd need less experience than most, but I don't have a definitive answer for that!
