BEING A LAB RAT WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS?!

I wanted to talk about what it has felt like for me over the past three years of feeling like a lab rat with Multiple Sclerosis. I'm so curious to know if any of you MSers also feel this way too with having to take infusions to treat our MS. I hope you guys like this video and subscribe to my channel if you haven't already!

I was at the pharmacy, finished and walking away. I felt all eyes on me, watching me limp on by. I always wonder what they think. I am definitely a lab rat. Not for MS meds. I’m in a study for walking/gait improvement. Not on infusions. I have been on steroids a few times. I had to take like 20-25 pills at a time. Way too many. “You’re upsetting my lesions right now” gold, I like it. It’s funny, my parents walk better than me, and their retired. 😂 stay safe😊. I always go for the hand rail, don’t know if I could go down stairs without it!

Everyone tries to find that "natural" solution. Even Dr. Wahl says to take your DMT. I feel like, when people say there are natural ways, or other ways, they are thinking that I am weak, and i feel bad.. Then I try to do something that I have trouble with (thinking, talking, etc) and realize they have no idea because they don't have any idea what my situation is. I hope you find peace with your treatment or find another treatment that you have peace with. Be well 😃

I have to say, again, that you are amazing. And as i heard the beginning I wanted to cry, was angry, and wanted to choke people. Its just astounding how some people make others feel that way. I don't know what else to say about it.

Thanks for all the videos. I feel constantly confused on the best route to take as different doctors stay different things but still can’t give me the answers to my questions and therefore I’m always unsure of how to push forward. I truly enjoy your videos. It definitely makes me feel like I’m not alone on this journey. Thanks again. 🤗

Aweee thanks for sharing that!!!! The amount of doctors I’ve already had to see is quite frustrating because I don’t usually ever hear things that I want to hear. “Going vegan won’t help you” 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m so glad my videos help you, we got this!!🧡🧡🧡

@@BumblePree Just some words to the vegan thing: For sure, it won't cure MS, which might be what your doctors meant, but it will prevent lots of standard troubles, people have because of eating (too much) meat. You know, i'm no doctor, and perhaps it's mostly the low quality of meat, people are eating, but i'm pretty sure that it causes major long term problems especially if someone isn't able to do lots of sports to prevent some or parts of the causable problems. Besides the needed supplementation of some (in some cases needed better quality) B12, i can't see any negative side effects of being vegan or vegetarian. - Again: I'm no doctor or some chemical expert, but even these sorts of people are often wrong or just don't know enough.

Yeah, I have 3 appointments this month.. Lab, MRI, and the infusion. 3 days off from work, and hefty compensation $$$. Nice..

Hey, just another like you.💞 Your case is so interesting to me. We are the same age! I was diagnosed last August. I went completely blind in my left eye. Optic neuritis. My vision is back, oh boy but that MS is something else. My whole body took a toll. I don’t feel myself anymore. But I’m fighting it everyday. Currently on ocrevus as well. You had mentioned you haven’t known MS without ocrevus? Because your doctors say you need to stay on infusions correct? I can see why you’re so frustrated!!

it really spoke to me when you were talking about other people saying go natural. When I got on my first DMT things got better but not as well as my doctor wanted then i moved to infusions I've only been taking it for a year but I do feel when it's effects start to wear off. I've been through tough times while on medication but I have been through hell when I wasn't. Just like you said if it works for them then great but yeahhhhhh.

Aweeeee Ouf I definitely understand with when the effects start to wear off, I oftentimes find that people think I’m relying on Ocrevus to stay stable but I mean, it’s exactly why I’m taking the infusions lol. People are confusing sometimes but we got to do what works for us!!!

When it comes to doctors, know that their education is focused on solving health issues in two possible ways. Medication or cutting in you. Their books and education is widely influenced and financed by the medical industry, which is interested in selling you medication for lifetime. There is no profit in studying alternative and natural ways of healing. A good example is cannabis, which we now know is beneficial in many cases. But cannabis have had a hard time. Anyone can grow it, it cannot be patented, and therrfore the medical industry is NOT interested in us knowing that.
