Only 1 did, and it fell through. She expected me to pay for her on her 2nd date, i told the waiter separately. Can I say something - I'm nearly 64,my hubby picked me up on our first date,he came in and met my parents,he not only bought me flowers,he also bought flowers for my mother and spent an hour talking to my dad before we went out to dinner and a movie, he had me home by 11pm as my dad requested. We were married 18 months later in 1979, we're still married today,he's a wonderful man,a caring and loving husband and an amazing father and pop to our grandchildren. I'm heartbroken to see how horrible modern women are,no self-respect or respect for others.

I'm an old fashioned woman who is always appreciative of even the smallest of efforts. It's called maturity 💐

It's so sad. Even just over 10 years ago, things were so different. My husband and I started dating in 2012. On our first date, he brought me flowers and opened my door. To this day, he still opens my car door for me over 90% of the time. I love it. We've even had a few people make comments about it. A gentleman in his 50s or 60s said it's nice to see a young couple and the man is still opening the car door for her.
