just bought pmh3000 today for 50$. I don't have speakon cables yet so I can't comment on its amplifier but everything else like vocal muting! working through the monitor out.

Subscribed : VERY INFORMATIVE thank you Sir... would you perhaps do a demo that has the KICK compressed and with effects. I like the techo.

Hey! I can't have a power test based on Kick short impulses with or without compression , this test needs a sustained sound.

did you bridge the channels for maximum advertised output through only one channel?

@@viocaia There are two outputs for speakers. That means 100% 2 x 446 watts or ?

@@TRILERish right, there are two power amplifiers, separate outputs. Also, it can tied in bridge for a mono double power output.

what speaker watts and ohms do recommend for this mixer?

  • @viocaia

As you can see from testing results, the power is around 450W in 4 ohms..so you'll need at least a 500W loudspeaker with 4 ohms or 300W in 8 ohms. Like a rule, higher speaker power never hurts! You can use 2000W boxes...as long as you are in the impedance limits , min4 ohms everything will be ok! But if you intent to use smaller...well, that's depending of your common sense, use the volume carefully, you can feel when a loudspeaker is overdrived. Finally: min 500W for 4 ohms, at least 300W for 8 ohms and 1000W min at 8 ohms in bridge mode.
