    I think there is a filter on the 230V side of the power supply. Normally they use at least one set of two capacitors connected in series. The midpoint is normall connected to the ground (real ground in the wall "socket". The power supply you have got does not have a connection to ground - it's prbably double isolated. If the filter is inside the power supply, the described above, still needs to be connected, and I suppose it's connected to the negative power lead! So, if you measure between a "real grounded" system and the minus lead of the power, you will in fact measure the voltage in the voltage divider - the two capacitors are connected in series! Yes, I have also broken devices and components due to this issue! Karl

  • @viocaia

    Yes, a very simple and intuitive tool to wind the coils. But did you see all the wires concentrated in the middle leaving you no space for the secondary windings to run. Do we have some kind of bearing support to make for the wire wheels to run on, so that, the layers can be neatly adjusted as coils on the bobbin?

  • @viocaia
    @viocaia27 күн бұрын

    That's true, I found once starting the first round to get the wire bobbin as far as you can, the angle to the new coil it's getting larger and the wire just put one after another by it self, also a kind of break to have a tension in the wire it's necessary.

    Great! What is it that determines the quality of the microphone?

  • @viocaia
    @viocaiaАй бұрын

    Let's start with the capsule itself. For a dynamic microphone like Shure SM58 (most of the rockers are using it on stages) the membrane have to be light and flexible, so a better response to both ends of the audio spectrum, low and highs. For condenser and electret microphones (like bulky studio mics or the one in your mobile phone), they are already pretty linear and good range, so in SX9 I'm sure the electret capsule it's pretty ok. In my situation, the megaphonic and flanger sound of this set it's because analog to digital converter. For saving costs I'm sure it's the most basic and cheapest possible! I believe the sampling rate it's max 22KHz, but for CD quality needs at least 44KHz. Also there is signal to noise ratio which have to be as low as possible (-in db). Overall for the money it's useful though. So there are a lot of factors to determine a good quality microphone, but I should start with a good capsule of course, the first in the chain.

    Hi there and thanks for the video! My machine works on maximum rotations, you cannot change the speed (the diode lights up). Do you have a guess what's wrong? Thanks in advance!

    That should be a final Mosfet in short...so all the voltage goes to the motor. Replace the transistor.

    @@viocaiaThe transistor that sits on the radiator? bdw93c?

    @@MagicATR I believe so...if you have a multimeter on resistance/diode mode, you should see a short in between legs

    @@MagicATR Yep, that's Darlington transistor, not mosfet like I thought before.I never encounter such a problem.

    I have a MicroSolar 600 watt inverter that idles at a measured 350 milliamps. This is 4.5 watts at 12.8 volts. The big Victrons idle at 11-15 watts. Low idle power is possible, consumers need to prioritize this feature to encourage manufacturers to optimize it instead of making the cheapest product. Powering small appliances directly from DC is generally more efficient than using AC overall. Using smaller inverters generally helps but not all small inverters are low in idle power. Fancy power saving modes generally don't work well for many appliances as the power is essentially going on and off and interfering with their monitoring and control electronics.

    Yep, that's a lot. You gave me an idea about a kind of light sensor with relay, connecting and disconnecting the battery after dawn. I don't have a inverter working on batteries but a MrPow MPPT charger. I'll check idle current too.
