I think it was basically confirmed that it was his wife. From what I gather, Dobrynya was very important (a father figure) to Koyanskaya (hence the Russian-ish name) but couldn't appear due to the nature of the event pushing out humans. Since his wife isn't human, he allowed her to use his spirit origin and take his place. Also, a big fan of the Valkyrie. I've always been a Valkyrie nut so I'm glad to have them. Brynhildr will hopefully one day arrive too.

wasnt there also a theory that dobrnya was also actually the dragon she was riding? the dragon corrupting his saint graph causing this which is why he has the demonic beast trait and carry the dobryna name, the main servant being the dragon, while the wife tags along riding him

It's interesting that instead of using their might, most Japanese folklore seem to rely on the hero tricking the monster, attacking it while it's not ready or lolling it into lowering it's guard before striking. It's a far cry from the likes of Heracles (though Heracles could be tricky too) or Wukong.

The fifth reason is tied with the Tunguska event. She was summoned because her husband couldn't materialize inside the Reality Marble. So she was sent to finish her husband's mission

Nikitich is really weird she has comments on Saint George that directly imply they met when he was alive but the time frame of their legends don't match up Altera not being in the Lostbelt encountering the Valkyrie is a big missed opportunity.

All of Lostbelt 2 was a missed opportunity no Seigfreid vs Sigurd no Freya and Eir especially Freya being a former Valkyrie and all no use of Eirenjar vs Servant narratively it was the weakest lostbelt

@@Doralga what would have been cool is if when surtr left it created a hole in sigurds saint graff and if Siegfried was their since their so similar they use Siegfried to fix it combining their saint graff to creat the true sigurd the invulnerable descendant of odin

Fun fact : in FGO the Valkyries are designed by Odin from the remnants of Sefar. Which makes Brynhildr, the Valkyries and Altera all related with Altera as somewhat of an older sister figure lol

As a personal request I think a good topic to discuss is Jason and the Argo, as Atlantis just happened. I can understand if that's too soon and you'd rather wait for 5.5 or the such. But as I am just recently getting back into the story of FGO It would interest me how these people acted in their on mythological backgrounds, mostly jason though as I just really like him.

The Argo is interesting because so many Greek heroes were its passengers. But a Jason video would be fun to make for sure!

Interesting it looks like I'm the first comment on this video don't really know what to write cuz I haven't watched the whole video yet I'm about 4 minutes into the video and all I can say is that's a good video so far and I'm pretty sure I'll probably like it when it's finished. actually the story behind marriage between Natasha and Dobrynya was a lil bit funnier. When Natasha beat Dobrynya, and he was lying unconscious, she took him in her pocket and decided: she's gonna pull him out and look at him again. if she'll like him, then she'll marry him. If not, then she'll kill him Fortunately, Dobrynya was handsome enough for her so she married him

Honestly, can you cover Galahad? Or any of the other KoTR? This one might be a pain because of how many different versions there are, but it should be pretty interesting to cover. Most media don’t depict the KoTR as anything other than ha ha, knights, but there’s a lot of history and such that makes them great characters.

The KoTR is a huge project that I have been working on slowly but surely. But Galahad specifically can be done. He’s incredibly interesting and how he goes to Mash is very well done

I’m really sad that Dobranya is a cat solely off his name. Seemed like a bit of a cop-out for more sales… Especially when our other cat girls have valid reasons for being, well, cat girls.

Eh wasnt pretty much confirmed with the epilogue of tunguska that the nikitich we summon is the wife? with all the both of them meeting each other and original nikitich explaining how he meet koyanskaya.

There are a few things you might not like about Dobryna. 1) A genderbend version of a character that exists in the universe, but has not yet been shown is pretty bad in itself. The developers seem to tease those who like the original character. 2) Feline attributes don't make sense. The fact that the character was made a cat girl literally because of the nya part of the name is so stupid and unreasonable that some people consider it racism. Especially because in Russia cats don't even sound like nya, they sound like meow.

Привет из Украины! It's a shame that Dobrynya was made a woman. He deserves to be as brutal as Beowulf or Napoleon. But this is FGO and I was ready for some of the new characters to change their gender again.

interesting, very interesting indeed especially the first servant. But you'll have to excuse me as i stare at this middle image (11:32) for the next three hours. Where perhaps did you find it?

This is a CE in game. I’m not sure what event it’s for but if you look up Sitonai on the FGO fandom page it should be listed under her CE’s. So a little behind the scenes, I exclusively use art that is either in the game or by the artist so if you’re ever interested to find these, they will almost always be on the Fandom Wiki under the servants name
