This edition of Behind the Screen gets personal with Educational Therapy instructor, Penelope Joven, MA. Penelope’s interest in teaching special education began in middle school when she would volunteer at an elementary school and read the students stories on the carpet. Her interactions with students at an early age sparked an interest and future passion for teaching. One thing about Penelope that might surprise her students is that she currently takes hip-hop and cake-decorating classes. It’s her way of investing in herself more! Penelope hopes you, too, invest in yourself, and she looks forward to working with all prospective students.
