After all these years,it would be nice for these guys to acknowledge the little girl since she was the first person to be seen on MTV . I always thought she was a daughter of a crew member of something.

I came on here to see if finally I can find out the name of the little girl; I see several other people asking but no-one answers! She was part of music history, and so cute; I would love to know what she is doing today.

Fantastic upload! Dived right on it when i saw the thumbnail and title...This song holds a lot of memories for me ...happy times... and when this was out, i was roughly the same age as the little girl, so I used to watch it and think I was her because I had teh exact same red dungharees 🤣🤣🤣🤣 All these years later and i still dance about to this song thinking im her ha ha Great video, thanks, Sonique 🤗🎶

@@RetroReminiscing back in 2019 (pre covid), I saw Trevor Horn in concert. He performed all the hit songs from the buggles, plus the many songs he helped produce (ABC, Art of Noise, Dollar, Frankie goes to Hollywood, etc). A great night!

With a stellar career as a producer, do you really think that Trevor Horn was 'a one-hit wonder'???

Somehow the song's theme (video that became omnipresent and "killed" the music), especially speaking of MTV, it makes me think of "Money for nothing" (Dire Sraits) that deal with a similar suject.
