Keeping the channel fresh and fun sometimes means trying new things and stepping outside of our comfort zone. While reviews will always remain a part of the channel, one of our goals this year is to work towards expanding the channel to cover broader topics. To kick things off, we are dipping our toes into Vlogging with this behind the scenes look at the upcoming Klipsch La Scala review as well as some of the day to day channel operations.

The cable hiding trick is genius, major IQ points.
THIS WAS AWESOME!! A little behind the scenes is always fun. Thanks for giving us a peek behind the curtain. Can't wait for more. As an old architect/audiophile, I really love the La Scalas and Eames chair together. That's a beautiful combo. Thanks again!

I love this! I think many people feel bad, because everything they see online is so styled and perfect. And seeing your mess, and the amount of work needed to just get those few shots perfect. It really makes one feel less bad for the cable management spiderweb one usually end up with.
It's weird to see Andrew below the waist. Love the shoes. I also love seeing the equipment behind the scenes.

its suprising to see that he actually has legs
That’s trickery! I owned a genuine Eames Lounge Chair. It absolutely rocked, but ruined my back. Bad news: I had to sell it. Good news: I got what I paid for it. I am now the proud owner of a cheapo IKEA Poang chair, which I think was designed by a chiropractor. It literally straightened my back out. Recommended! Nice Pioneer! ‘70s, baby! So much good stuff from Realistic to Marantz to McIntosh. Fond memories indeed.
You guys are like a fine wine. You improve with each video. Absolutely loved it. And judging from the comments I'm not the only one. Can't wait for the review. Especially the heirloom. Looks gorgeous.
I had no idea of the extra effort you guys put into showcasing the speakers and equiptment....my respect for you and this channel just went up 100%. Hope 2021 is awesome to you two and everyone else.
It was actually refreshing to see that you are human and don’t live on a movie set. I enjoyed it. Absolutely love the story of the pioneer resto!👍
I absolutely loved this video! You guys are such sweet and humble people and I love the excitement behind restoring that little pioneer! I really need to get that done to my dads setup of old 70s Rotel Integrated Stereo Amp and Stereo Tuner! I’d love to see more! Thanks for your sheer love for all this and for being cool! Keep them coming! 😅
I definitely dig the behind the scenes, would certainly be interested in more!
This was so much fun! Plus Kadie! Yeah, please do more.
Loved this, please do more. I love the look of your home. So any insight in how you style it is very interesting.
@Andrew Robinson it was a pleasure working on the 780. I cant wait for the review video!
hey Andrew, thanks for making this video , like really. Life's not great right now, cases going up and up where I live and restrictions are getting worse each week. So this kind of content makes me feel a bit more connected with the world and people. :)

Wish I could love this comment more. We feel and relate to your frustration and despair. I’m so glad to know this has helped you even if in a small way.
As an architect and audiophile, I love your videos and how well lit any styled they are. However, this blog format would be a great complement. It allows you guys to show a more relaxed side and show how you really live. Keep them coming!
I really enjoyed this format. Scattering this in with the reviews would make for a really impressively complete channel experience.
This was lot's of fun. Thank you.
Thanks for the tip on the contact paper over plywood “cable management”. I have been looking for an easy way to hide all the cables behind my open backed desk. This should do the trick.
Really love the format, hope to see more of it in the future!
4:10 It's funny to see what people without children consider to be a "disaster," as far as messiness in a home. 😂
I love these less formal VLOG type videos. That Pioneer looks fantastic. My sister has a tone of old gear our father had turntables. Real to real. Speakers. Preamps. Amps. I hope the pioneer video will go into how to value and repair vintage gear.

I dig it. I think something so often overlooked is the lifestyle that accompanies this hobby. So much of it is just straight product reviews in cluttered spaces. I always appreciate your eye for design and seeing some of how you get there is enjoyable. It's also cool to see a bit of what you're excited about and only makes me want to see your next official video even more. That vintage receiver looks amazing!

Great video. Really liked the off the script, vlog style, behind the scenes stuff.
Wow! Behind the scenes was a total eye opener, also seems like the videography is done by yourselves? Which is great! You really do a wonderful job with every review - I have experienced and actually bought many products based on your reviews. Great work Andrew.

That is correct. Everything is done by us. We are a team of two - for now. Thanks so much for tuning in.
Wow I really love your setup designs and that’s a teal clever way to hide cables, loved the Video, if you can do more of those kinds!
Appreciate you showing us this mate. Makes us realize how much work goes into your videos. 👍👍
Yeahhhhh that cable management was driving me crazy... How does he do it? 😂
I want more! Loved seeing the background. I like how personal and thought you put into your reviews and commentary. Your space is always very clean, white and lacking details in my home like a kid and kid stuff everywhere. Your videos and especially this one really get people to know you, who you are, what you like and it helps with all your reviews. ! As a note, I've been following you since your before Emotiva days over the years. Almost bought a pair of Tektons in the BMW gray color (I think that is what you had), until I realized they were really too big, even bigger than my Klipsch KLF-20's. Keep up the great work in 2021
This was just so enjoyable to watch - you MUST do more of these please.

Good stuff guys. It's actually nice to see behind the scenes and learn more about your lives. It's more interesting than just product reviews and keeps the channel evolving.
Can't wait to see the video about that gorgeous Pioneer receiver! Looks like they did an amazing job restoring it.
The production level is truly fantastic. This is filmed more like a short film than a KZread vlog. Truly amazing work.
I enjoy the vlog it was nice to see all the work that goes in to you videos. You guys do such a good good job. That even my wife enjoys watching with me and that saying something. Thanks your for all your hard work.
This was great. I have even more appreciation for how you put these videos together, and it’s nice to learn stuff about the channel beyond just the product reviews. Always interesting to see how folks manage their days, and pick up a few tricks for better presentation of gear and most importantly, hiding cables and wires. Please do more of these in the future.
This is without a doubt my favourite video to date! So revealing and enlightening, and you both come out of it really really well! Thank you!
This was such an excellent video to see what you guys do behind the scenes! Love the Pioneer and the La Scalas! Can't wait for the reviews! I have my original Pioneer from 1978 in my basement, this preview is inspiring and we haven't seen the Pioneer video. Thank you!

@@andrewrobinsonreviews Sorry my lazy butt has taken a minute to respond. Wanted to think about the La Scala review. One thing that comes to mind is how much you and Kristi respond to Klipsch gear. You acknowledge the shortcomings but always seem to be taken by their stuff. I've never owned any of their speakers, so I have no firsthand experience but I have seen similar responses from other reviewers. I am interested in Klipsch but never have the right environment for horn-loaded or gigantic old-school-style speakers (space can be at a premium in Japan). And the La Scala are extra ridiculous from that perspective. Anyway, the general take away is that I hope you both keep injecting your personal emotional/personal responses into the reviews. Given that, it might be fun to see some more vintage (not necessarily that old) gear reviews (from time to time and only if you're interested). Revisiting stuff (Kristi in particular mentioned a particular speaker or amp?) you'd heard in the past. I think the banter between the two of you over how you each felt about a particular piece is fun and even touching. Anyway, long... as always keep it up. Looking forward to all the things in 2021.
Love the video guys, very interesting to see behind the "wizards curtain" so to speak!👍
