I love these behind the scenes so much. Thank you for posting. It's bussin'.
Interesting. I like watching bloopers as well. Always entertaining.
I would have never thought that so much goes in the production of drive tribe. Good work.
Man, I love the sound that engine makes!
I love the seats in that buggy.
Was delighted to see most of that was filmed around the village of Broad Chalke where I was lucky enough to grow up!
asking captain slow to give a rev, that is funny

"hope you enjoyed it, i've been Mike, see you next time" So who were you in last video?
Thanks for this behind the scenes, Mike! I enjoy your friendly vibe, just subscribed, hope to see more of your content! Have a great day.
Production value of the beach buggy video was fantastic - felt like I was watching Grand Tour
Fascinating!
It is great to see how much effort you guys have to put in 7 min. video.
James May looks like real fun to work with. Would like to film with him one day
The Royal Oak looks like it's a really nice place to relax. Really hope I get to visit one day.
Err. At 3:46 in the background, James says that he's never driven this car before, and that it's "basically the same as the one on the special"?

Now thats one of the best looking cars...ever!!!
Thank you Mike 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
Mike, one day show James a picture of Sheogorath in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. They are really starting to look alike, and he may even get his own wabbajack as Wes Johnson, the voice actor and literal IRL Sheogorath.

Did you know, James May used to be a Top Gear presenter, until he took an arrow to the knee? I'll get my coat ....................
No Lucy ?
Great vibes from this video. A beach buggy in the English countryside...driven by a friendly old man who makes his own brand gin.😊😊

If you said that back in the day you'd be accused of doing too much Double Orange Barrel. That's LSD to you young 'uns.

I might have missed it in any previous behind the scenes (new subscriber), but can you show where the camera is for the passing shots? Like where the camera vehicle passes the presenter? I've always wondered whether you mount it on the outside, or whether they just stick a camera out the window.
I recognise the start scene, Grosvenor Arms at Hindon, Salisbury
Aren't the fenders supposed to be horizontal on top so that they can accommodate beer bottles?

only on the US models.
this makes me laugh seeing you guys filming him pop out from various objects
Epic
I know we're all supposed to be about the cars but I really like this as well because I do get curious about how stuff is produced! Does anyone know what cameras they are using at 1:07 in? I can see three but can't make out what they are.
Question: So I know that Tom is James' mate and so he directs shows that James does and thus he was in this vid. But does he also helm other DriveTribe videos with the other two?
Mike. Are you going to do a video on his Gin distillery? I’d love to see that too
Hey Mike, wher was the intro filmed? Looks lovely!
James! You missed the mark! You should have named it "Jim Gin" or "En Gin".

I think their something like a red camera or blackmagic camera those types of cameras they don't look like Dslrs their too boxy for that
6:05 : the drone flew rather close to those telephone lines in the background.
Nice
Hi Mike. Bit of a geeky question this (but genuine). How did you mic up James at the start? I can't see a lavalier mic, a shotgun mic or an overhead mic and the vocal sound is really good.

Concealed lav mic under the shirt.
At least no halfrauds involvement today. A massive leap for drivetribe kind
Mike has one of the best jobs in the world
Where was 4:39 filmed.

All DJI products, good
Well I thought you were Mike the whole time. But it's obviously only on video. what is your real name ??? 🤣🤣🤣
where is Lucy!
I hope you're still Mike the next time!
Who in the everloving F*** decided to put a wing on the RX8 in the Royal Oak car park?!
Where's our Lucy?
“Like, comment, and subscribe.”: Done🤟🏼
Thank u for less talking, it wasn't so bad. ;)
why do you need that clap before filming/ saying action?
@NICKFOXTV
2 жыл бұрын
The audio and the video are captured separately, as well as there being multiple cameras in this case. The clap is an easy visual to sync the different angles and the audio has a clear peak in the waveform that you can line up on the editing timeline 👍🏻
That buggy sounds bloody good but you seem to make these behind the scenes rather dull, sorry
This Car would be right at home on Clarksons Farm.
Wrong tail pipes, wrong steering wheel. tail lights mounted wrong. I get that stuff from a good dealer here in Switzerland. That includes the engine and many other important parts. I keep mine as close to the Meyers original as possible. And I use an original California body that has been reconditioned. I suspect this body is a replica that does not quite cut it. This one, I would have left in Namibia, burnt and all.
Ugh.......mike is annoying
