thats not why we didn't get him.. Brad just knows Gibbs versatility is miles more valuable than a RB like Bijan. Brad is incredibly intelligent, and knows Ben Johnson will probably continue to prosper as an OC, and will land a head coaching gig at some point, and getting Gibbs into the program to run Ben's offense is going to help that kid so much. If you watch Gibbs Tape, and also the Lions 2022-2023 play calling, you then realize exactly why they got him. And by watching him in person at the Lions training camp, GIbbs has been absolutely lights out. His speed, his hands, his footwork, and route running is just a thing of beauty. I have very high hopes for both Gibbs, and Laporta. I think Sam Laporta is gonna be one of the steals of the draft. That kid can play.

@@RawwRex You can literally hear brad say they want Gibbs at 6 in the initial Lions Draft video lmfao. Comparing Bijan, and Gibbs is your first mistake.. They are 2 totally different backs lmfao. It's not even fair to say one better than the other. Gibbs is a far better route runner than Bijan, so your subjective idea of "better" Is irrelevant.

@@coylebarre1240 Why aren't you sold lol? You can literally take your same opinion, and apply it to virtually every single teams Draft Picks in the entire draft. Considering not 1 player has played a regulation NFL game yet, nobody knows who is gonna be good, and or bad. What we know which is a fact, is Gibbs has been very impressive in Training Camp, and him and Goff already seem to have really good chemistry. Same with Laporta. We also know for a fact that even our Defense in training camp, couldn't keep up with Gibbs. Nobody is expecting him to be a 1st ballot Hall of Famer.. But if you think he won't impact our team positively next year, then I think you are misinformed and don't know much about ball.
