Love this. The only thing i love as much as lighting off fireworks is watching others light off fireworks, thank you Cody for bringing us so much great firework content.

nice setup very kind of them to let you get a behind the scenes look at it. Some 1.3 companies can be kind and love to talk about the show others can be cocky and rude and won't talk to you .

06:18 Minor correction to your explanation of Cobra's "Control Panel" software. You don't need the Command Center. Control Panel runs ONLY on the Android platform, and it doesn't require the Command Center setup. An Android tablet with the Control Panel software can plug directly into the 18R2 via an OTG cable. The Command Center is more for keeping everything tidy and easy to transport, but 100% not a requirement. 😉✌🏻

Cody, Thank you and that crew for some of the newest shells. Toward the end there was one shell that created a flower with the stems and all and blooming at the top, just one shell, but it was great! They were mostly all excellent ,but that one was unique! Cheers, Rik Spector

I work for a fireworks display company in the UK and we secure all of our cakes to a solid structure regardless of the size.

I love that you show all of these different fireworks and what they do, how much they cost. But what these videos show me is that these firework companies haven’t really advanced the technology as much as they should have over the past 20 years. Meaning that, a lot of these fireworks look the same. There’s little variety in a lot of it, and you would figure by now they would have fireworks that could do neon quality colors. Just not red, green, white, off-white, and blue, sometimes in purple. but… Neon, pink and baby blue and brighter colors. Along with different shapes and designs. Longer lasting, etc. I realize, that the bigger the shell… The more they can do… But, it seems like they would’ve found new ways to create what I said above and more. Obviously, the science is there. So I’m interested from your point of view, Cody, why do you think that there isn’t more variety. This isn’t something I’m noticing with you as much as I am the industry. When I watch the fireworks down here in Ocean City, Maryland, and even those in DC… I’m seeing the same stuff every year. Maybe one different one but it’s been the same for the past 20 years. The fact that a lot of these shows now are using drones… Makes me wonder if the science or the industry just hasn’t stagnated. So I’m interested from your point of view, why you think this is? I did notice that in Japan and China they seem to have different fireworks that have a lot of variety. But it doesn’t seem like many of them make their way over here. I don’t know if that’s a distribution thing or cost. But I definitely would love to hear your opinion.

It looks like a big job just to wire all this stuff together. Isn't it easier just to light the fuse with a lighter?

Cool to see the setup. Obviously gotta do what the client wants based on budget but man I think I fell asleep 5 times watching that. These clients who want a 30 minute show on a 12 minute budget! Don’t ever see the point beyond 18-20 minutes, rarely anyone keeps interested any longer.

Glad you understood its what the client wanted! It's definitely slower than we are used to but the fun part for us was we got to see the individual effects which is seldom the case.

100% correct. I'm definitely with you on how slow it was and too long. But at the end of the day, it's all about what the client wants like you said. So if they want it that long and drug out, then have at it lol. Great job by the company tho. Very clean setup for sure. I'm not used to having the wires quite that neat on the shows I've helped with lol

In Finland you can, but always need to notice the fire apartment.

Only thing I could've liked was if you shot them faster. For most of the video, it was like one firework at a time.

You should try to make it to SkyWars sometime Cody.

When Cody mentioned "massive racks" I started looking for some hot chick somewhere in the video.......... ......only to realize he was referring to the launch tubes. Talk above a colossal letdown..... Minutes later he says ....... "Oh yeah, and we parked a train right there....." Probably the only time in my life I'll ever hear that phrase.😆😆😆😆😆

Not really no the shoot site didn't really allow it. The only angles were mainly cakes that had a v shape

At least they waited till it’s dark not like company around my area they start when it’s not dark out and I went to 3 fireworks displays and it was a joke the band was still playing and I couldn’t get video’s

A great show, only the spectators are too far away. The small town show I attend every 4th, I'm choking on smoke, dodging debris, and having a bug out plan in case something comes my way. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Nice video and good but not perfect display. Seems like they are not so experienced. It was very slow and i don't think the viewers liked that very much. You could've gone faster and faster until the end barrage. This would've build tension and made the display overall better. Still was cool to see all the different shells 👍

1.3 shows like these are so boring. Bare minimum to collect a check.

@@explosiveenterprises1479 It wasnt aimed towards you and what you do. I unapologetically still believe most typical 1.3 shows are boring. Very repetitive 1 shot after the other. Its only my personal opinion and it shouldn't matter to anyone.

How boring can a firework show be? That was so lame. Last 4min was worth watching.. If that the way in USA, I'm so happy living in Finland.. here shows are so much better. Full of action, nothing like this. One shot at a time.. not cool.
