When I got into the Desert Rose Band, Herb Pederson was the guy I wanted to be. I love Chris Hillman, but there was something about Herb's serene calmness and his perfect harmonies that drew me in. That was such a talented band and Herb was the glue that held it all together. I still listen to their albums and play their songs with my band. We're a pale imitation, but we try to capture the spirit of those guys and the magic that was in their songs.

wait a minute is a Timeless world-class song, not stompdown Kick-Ass musicians, but not contrived in the slightest, straight from the heart pure , a true mix of bluegrass and country, I was a professional musician for many years, I know music, if that's song had the proper distribution, I would rank it with any of the top 10 hits of the of the 70s , once again beautiful and simple , 💯 ✅💥🏌️

I have seen herb many time in concert. I had a chance to talk to him and I always asked him about Gram Parsons and I feel bad for that. It must of been a very boring question he did not want to talk about and I would ask that question again, That last song Herb played wait a minute was outstanding. It touched me . Herb is a very down to earth modest man and he talked to me about Gram even though I should of asked him a question about him. I feel bad about that and realize now most people who know Gram Parson are sick of talking about him when they lived on way past Gram and made great music. I was a naïve fan and should of known better, Herb made a lot of great music and I am happy to see him being recognized,

Herb is one of my favourite musicians, contributing so much in his own modest way. His credentials are second to none. Nice accompanying licks from Craig Thatcher, by the way...

I wonder which kind of D-18 is that one

It doesn't look vintage, so I'd guess it's either a D-18 Golden Era or possibly a D-18 Authentic. I have owned a pre-War D-18 but sold it last year because it was worth so much money I'd never take it out of my house. Replaced it with a used D-18 Golden Era model (which I had owned in the past) and though it's not in same class as that vintage guitar, it sure sounds great and plays like a vintage model with its modified V neck.
