Watching Lady Gaga getting ready for the MET after I went through all the Kardashian/Jenner get ready video really healed my soul. Lady Gaga is so genuine, she understands the theme and takes it into her soul, and she treats her team with respect. The Kylie Jenner’s vid was the complete opposite, all about me me perfect ME and gives off the synthetic vibes. And I think it’s so sweet that the one MET Gala theme that represents Lady Gaga the most, she chose to be dressed by her long time designer friend Brandon Maxwell. She trusted him with her vision and his IG post dedicated to her afterwards was so touching that I could feel their friendship reflected in mine with my best friend. Lady Gaga is a true gem

She’s just pure genius! The whole event was worth making just to see her

I just love how they went into a circle and prayed before the performance/exhibition. Gaga really took the theme to heart and made an effort. With the looks and the whole shebang. She's an icon.

I just LOVE how professional, dedicated and hardworking she is. She does everything gracefully and she puts all her effort in everything she does. I've seen few comments saying that Gaga wasn't the best camp there because critics said it wasn't legendary enough. Honey, critics declared some of the MOST BASIC looks I've EVER seen on this Met Gala the best and legendary. Do not listen to critics. Camp was basically created by black drag queens in response to what critics were pushing as the best fashion in mainstream. Critics have the least to say in there.

I love how Gaga’s fashion is like art. You can find hidden meanings in what she wears. You can interpret it differently. I’ve always found her looks as satire, making fun of people who go to extreme lengths for fashion. Gaga is the definition of the modern artist.

YES! Those people clearly do not understand the heart and soul of camp! Lady Gaga *IS* camp! There were many attendees who wore garbage bags of feathers and tulle, yet did not encompass camp or understand it at all (mostly because they missed the required readings of Susan Sontag's Notes on "Camp").

Lady gaga is the queen of fashion. She was the heart of met gala. No can beat her when it comes to get best dressed for 'camp '. She always nailed it. She is just so graceful. She doesn't need to put a lot of efforts to get attention because she has the perfect attitude to grab the attention and limelight. She does all the things with so much grace that it just becomes mind blowing. She is just amazing.

Gaga is so respectful and works as a team….i love her

love how with every aspect she thought of ‘camp’....unlike others

interesting world world girl what are you talking about ? It was choreographed. It was rehearsed. It was thought through. It was a performance art. It was a masterpiece ! It wasn’t just some celebrities wearing some costumes on the pink carpet.

@@hergloww It's not about the clothes. She perfectly embodied what camp is. I'd rather see this than some celebrity dressing up as a chandelier or a Disney princess but couldn't pull off a campy performance just like what Gaga did.

Lady Gaga is the definition of “extravagant.” Shes not just that though. She truly cares about the clothes she wears. When she wears them they become a part of her and it’s beautiful to see.

I literally cried when her song started playing. This is giving me life.

Gaga knows exactly what she's doing. She's so serious about her craft. Camp is being over the top, without specifically trying to be over the top.

The speech that lady gaga gave to her team compared to the one that kylie gave to her team is crazy just shows that u can have it all and still want more be ungrateful and have it all and be grateful with what u have and don’t wish for more

They really prayed before camp and she acknowledges participation and effort of everyone. Ive never known any artist who attend MET GALA that did that. 🥰love GaGa
