Chances are, you will. The Behemoth apparently said that CC would only get a sequel after Alien Hominid. AH is getting a sequel on Nintendo Switch. This means that chances are, we’re getting a CC 2.

Also, the giant Bat Boss from Castle Crashers appears in a cutscene in BattleBlock theatre, when they mention the weird guy who wants to breed a terrifying race of SUPER BATS (despite his bat phobia)

There are actually more links between all of the games. In the actual pit where you go to battle in Pit People, there’s a statue of the painter from castle crashers. But with the newest behemoth game releasing, Alien Hominid: Invasion, it’ll probably explain how so many of the alien creatures came to the desert in castle crashers. There are also very, VERY big similarities with the king from castle crashers and the king from put people(and their signature weapons as well). This brings up the debate of which games take place when, to which we know two of them for sure. Pit People comes after Battleblock Theater, but it becomes much harder to decipher the other ones. Idk though, that’s about all I picked up from the games.

I dunno, I think it goes alien first, bbt, Pit People, then castle crashers, or maybe castle crashers is in between bbt and pit people and that's why the world is more medieval because the bear destroyed most of technology.

I was so surprised to see hatty move when the giant space bear pulled hatty out of the ocean

Was the muted audio intentional? Were the grammatical errors intentional? Was using movie maker intentional? Was forgetting to show the Pit People true ending intentional? I don't know! But it emulates 2009 to perfection.

its amazing how behemoth games made a connection with 4 different games with 4 different play styles and 4 different plots

the behemoth is becoming one of my fav game devs. im trying to get and play every game that they ever made (since they actually took their time to create their game and not just release some jank every year). i already got 3 of the 4 games, hopefully i can pick up alien hominid when the new one comes out!

I didn’t even know their stories were linked, I just thought they were references until I saw the video

I realised that the ending for Battleblock Theater,has a connection with the Second Ending for Pit People.

And we do know the newest game coming out sooner or later is Alien Hominid Invasion (still being worked on as of 5/19/21) which might throw in a few lore punches

Popped up in my recommended good video behemoth may have only made 4 games but all of those games have been amazing and fun experiences

The ending of Battleblock Theater has the narrator say "It all makes sense now!" and then Pit People has the literal bear that just died as the main cause of all the events in it as well as a song where the words are literally "It all makes sense now" I also believe that judging from other comments, if the king from Pit People resembles the king from Castle Crashers, maybe he went to another planet? I don't know a huge amount, but I'd say that the pink space bear didn't destroy all of the livable planets in pure rage and he somehow managed to get tf out of there while he had the chance and then Castle Crashers follows right after that. I have basically nothing to back this up, but for the sake of summarizing everything I just said, I think Alien Hominid comes first in the story, Battleblock follows, Pit People is obviously right after that, then Castle Crashers

The editing makes this nostalgic

Ok but can we acknowledge that the bat boss in Castle Crashers is named Pipistrello and the princess in pit people is named Pipistrella.

my theory is that the boy wished a fantasy giving birth to castle crashers. That would explain all the humor in it. Its a childs imagination

Feels like one of those older whoisthisgit videos Im ok with this

it's hard to pinpoint where castle crashers falls on the timeline. On one hand it could be the first one becuase of the fact that the world isn't hexagons and the buff alien doesn't die he just escapes but on the other it could have been in between BBT (BattleBlock Theater) and Pit People, because on one of the cut scenes it shows a friend who want's to make a race of super bats which is the one that you fight as a mini boss in CC (Castle Crashers). It's also a little confusing for AH (Alien Hominid) because when it gets shot down in BBT it doesn't show the kids he took with him falling out so it could have been another of his species. from what I think it is (ignoring the BBT scientist) Castle crashers, Alien Hominid, BattleBlock Theater, and finally Pit People but if we consider the scientist then it would be Alien Hominid, BattleBlock Theater, castle crashers, and finally Pit People. This is the best I could come up with so far, it's hard to find a timeline here especially considering Alien Hominid is more of a modern time with guns and robots (which would technically make it last) but I've tried my best

sort of weird, but I think castle crashers is the end of this timeline.. or atleast the known end. we see hatty in it, and while yes, the painter has a statue in pit people, it seems to be mid apocalypse.. while castle crashers not only appears to be post apocalyptic, but also has hatty out of the water! (which could technically mean he got buried after somehow ending up outside of the ocean)

The timeline is confusing but this might be it alien hominide crashes onto earth (with the FBI) after getting sent back home in a handmade UFO. and the kids are abducted, (castle crashers) On the otherside of the planet, magic has been mastered, and they are still in the medieval times-ish a magic crystal got stolen and the crashers have to get the gem back, along the way, the aliens have suspition to believe that the alien is there unfortunatly, mistaking the castle crashers as citizens, but on the quest to get the gem and they succeed. (battle block theater) But in this chaos, hatty hattington gathers his friends to hopefully escape, claiming the escape as a "friend filled adventure" as to try and make everyone NOT panic, but things go wrong, hatty is captured and dies due to the hat. he dies sad, and crying, wishing they had found a safehaven. but he is "saved" only for his friends to realise that they must let hatty float out to sea, as he hits the ocean surface, somthing awakens, Hatty is happy again, since he can now know that everyone will live happily, The hat gets powered by this, and soon, it blasts. up up and higher up, for it to then killing honey hug. (Pit People) The other cosmo bear, wishing to punish everyone that killed honey hug, caused everyone and everything into anarchy, as he destroys the universe, with hatty, who's beam activates, only by thinking that he will go to heaven, not knowing that he will cause other's hell. only leaving Horatio and his son alive... But in the rubble, the crumbling of the universe, they encounter the Speckled horse granting 1 wish for the 2 left alive. Horatio's son wishes for the iced creams. but Horatio wishes he could go back, and change the past. As the begining happens again, he warns his son, to run and follow him, as he tells everyone that WOULD be harmed by the event, to head to the pit. he manages to convince everyone. and as everyone is there... the cosmo bear just wishes... that he could stay with honey hug... but. the Speckled horse apears once more. granting the wish, of rewinding time, so the beam merely misses honey hug. giving them, the best ending (Alien Hominide: Invasion)... and thats the story for now, from what i can tell
