This is for console veterans: do you remember when you’d switch to the front 3rd person view, the camera was weird. Like if you moved the camera up, Steve’s head would look down and vise versa? Now the head follows the cameras movement.

Omg yesss I remember! I didn't have Minecraft when I was little, so I played with my cousin on his old Xbox 360. It was not the full version of the game unfortunately, we couldn't save either (what was really annoying). We spawned in front of a giant MC title or something, and we had to go thru that. Most of the time we couldn't, but when we sucsessfully arrived to the other side, there was a village. The whole game was strange like that, I think that was a trial version, but we had a lot of fun ^v^

First time I played MC: It was on Pocket Edition, when the Nether Reactors were a thing (And you had to build a nice structure around it) and when Zombies dropped feathers, buckets weren't a thing, the title screen was just dirt with three big buttons, and when the world select showed a side-scrolling menu with giant thumbnails. There was even tiny-sized worlds where the world would stop generating not too far away from spawn. I also remember when the crafting menu was just a list of items that you can craft, with a button on the side that would craft the item you selected. Ah, the good old days of Minecraft Pocket Edition

I remember owning an iPod Touch (probably a 4th gen because it had a camera) back in 2014, and it had Minecraft Pocket Edition Lite on it it included some of the stuff mentioned, the old death sound, the old title screen background, mobs that don't go behind walls and more.

I play Minecraft with no sound on and with a texture pack so some of the sounds and texture related stuff shocked me. I also picked Minecraft back up after a few years of not playing so I never realized certain things had changed.

I still try to block things with my sword, and often search or the “rose” in my inventory, before crying and realizing it got removed.

Who remembers the seed waaaaay back called 'Worst Seed Ever' because ironically it was the best seed ever. You spawned right on top a double dungeon which had a cave beneath it that gave you about 40 diamonds.

I remember when herobrine was the scariest thing in minecraft, I remember the old steve damage sound. I remember when I used to use creative mode all the time, I remember when the dirt background was still a thing. I remember when the rose was still a thing. Wow I did not realise how much of a veteran I am, I remember all of these. I think I started playing around the end of 2010, so late alpha. Coming back to the game now is so strange with all this elytra and shulker stuff which I have not kept up with. MC used to be so simple, like when they added dogs to the game and that was the most amazing thing haha

I don’t know if it was just me, but remember when you would see a stampycat video where he would do something cool, and you would try to do it only to realize later that it was a mod?

Spxnish shields are a new thing arent they, i remember my oldest memory of minecraft was the creative inventory being a list and not containing eye of ender, but i dont even remember shields, ever, i started again like half a year ago but still shields seem super new

Why do I still watch these videos? They just remind me how new I am to the game compared to the average player and how I can never truly be a part of the minecraft community....

I downloaded minecraft just 3 days after it was released in 2011. I think I was the first player then. I did no yt because I was 4 years old. I only made tnt towers but I didn't know how to make the tnt explode so I used lava. Nostalgia just hit me right now like a train.

I haven’t played minecraft in such a long time that I didn’t even know a bunch of the features were removed or changed so if I got back into the game today I would be so confused

Honestly, i always thought the "being woken up by a zombie or skeleton" was simply a deterrent to sleeping wherever you wanted. It made sense, if you tried to sleep somewhere that wasn't safe then obviously something could ambush you in your sleep.

yeah, this video is soooo nostalgic. even when i'm still kid, i exatcly remember every thing from this video. how? i don't know

i remember when i was like 6 and my english was just horrible so i stuck to like 2 polish minecraft youtubers and they were my life. I also remember my brother downloading a cracked version of minecraft on my moms laptop (back then, buying a game was a big thing in my house) and so i re-created some of stampy's rides and attractions he had in his lovely world, doing that and playing FNAF World were my most memorable moments on that laptop, and also listening to Revenge by Capitain Sparklez in 2015.

THE OLD BOATS SUCKED!!! Even if you hit a lily pad they would break apart!
