I thought that Shakeel only wrote for films but after listening this ghazal it changed my opinion

I cannot put in words what this ghazal does to me. Begum sahiba conveys the emotions of the ghazal so well that I literally melt, cannot breathe at places due to the effect. Especially 'woh miljaingey ajaaingay..' where she conveys hope, and then breaks it... My God!!

There is no match for Begam Akhtar, she is unparalleled. 👌👌👌👌👌

Hello Mirzaji kya kar diya aapne. Muddat se is gazal ko dhoonda kiye aur aaj aapne gareban phaarne ke quabil kar diya humein..Thanks Its heart wrenching words and her voice, hum to is jahaan se gaye. yaaron sambhalana humein. The recording is very clear and of course Begum's unique gayaki masha allah.. I wish I could record it on a CD and then play in my stereo...it doesn't sound same on PC..Kuch to duniyan ki enayaton ne....Beautiful..thanks ab rone ka bahana mil gaya .

Nalini ji, you have put into words my feelings exactly......ab rone ka bhana.... . Mirza Sahib's dedication to revive and nourish a vanished golden age, on a easily accessible platform for eternity deserves praise of the highest order. The music, the illustrations and the overall ambiance ...wah, wah, wah! And Nalini ji, may I suggest a solution to recording on Cds ? I am a some what deaf lover of music, so I use a pair of not too bad headphones to get my daily fix on the PC. Have become so addicted to the method that I play my all my CDs on the PC now. This way I can indulge to my heart's content and not incur the 'mohalla's wrath also. Perhaps this could work for you too. Happy listening
