Mr. Jansen, the reference photo is by far one of the best for those just beginning to paint roses. The Queen of flowers is beautiful and your painting is as well. I am good at accents but need practice with roses. Sometimes some of the smallest accents can add so much to the painting. I am painting one hour per day but as you mentioned you complete three to four paintings! Enjoyed your tutorial, thank you!
