Andy developed a working style growing up that he used successfully in Hollywood. And then the same format worked on wrestling. Love it

Absolutely! He needs to be in the WWE hall of fame. Andy Kaufman brought pro wrestling into the mainstream. I think the McMahon family is still pissed they turned him down and Lawler snatched him up
Lawler vs Andy was a pretty cool fued. Andy got heat better than regular wrestling heels back then.

No doubt about it. Andy Kaufman actually started all the fun years of wrestling.
I've heard just about every instance of Jerry telling this story and I still love it just the same. The dude is a legend and a national treasure. I live in east Tennessee but kind of want to go to Memphis to see his place.
would love to see jerry put out a chronological compendium of andy's work in CWA. vince would want to control it i'd guess, although a non-wwe release would be attractive, even though jerry's a long time working partner with them
