I got one from a Masters pack luckily. I wanted to build an Ur-Dragon deck but I don't have a lot of money to make something huge. So I'm glad to see there are budget options for decks. :D

I'm not trying to hate, i just feel like this wasn't an ur dragon deck, there was so much non dragon non ramp non draw it was crazy, when i had ur dragon i played it like edgar markov Eminence, cost reducers and cheap dragons, i know old gnawbone and the ancients but i found let them wipe you, dragons can come back from the grave and well this just seemed different than a typical ur dragon deck to me

Its all good, no ego here. this deck used to be the one you are describing but because I have been playing Ur Dragon for 7 years and after losing a ton of games, this is the version of the deck, I humbly win most games with

The misconception of the ur dragon deck is that it doesn’t need to be all dragons. Dragons are super slow to bring out and they can be easily countered if brought out. So having cards that are able to stall your opponents, destroy things, and or have tap for color or any color creatures and artifacts helps a lot. The ramp up with farseek for example will help. Or cultivate. Having more lands instead of the usual 36, 39 or 40 lands, most being double lands or fetch lands would help a lot too. Being able to find the balance of how you play and what your plan is to play, then that’s how you will find out that the Ur dragon deck is more than just dragons. It’s fast ramp.
