I am just a beginner and have ordered 5 books recently. • The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, the last lecture by Randy pausch ,the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin ,the story of my Experiments with Truth An Autobiography of Mahatma Gandhi and think and grow rich by napoleon hill . Are these books good for beginners to start with?

I remember picking up 'The God of small things ' as a beginner . I eventually put it down after a few chapters 🙂. It's a bit intimidating for beginners:)

I read it in my 15 years old in malayalam. Since the story situated in kerala, the translation was too good.

I gifted " the autobiography of yogi " and was wondering why she wasn't reading it actively.. Now got the answer here!!!

Idk why I found "Murder on the Orient express" so difficult that I had to re-read the first two chapters quite a few times. I liked the first two chapters of "An autobiography of Yogi" though it had a lot of difficult, obsolete words in it. Anyway, thanks for making this video :) .

i think these types of videos are really important because when beginners do go to these books and find them difficult and they just think that reading is not for them. Currently reading the book thief btw and i'm crying already

I started my reading with psychological thrillers and I didn't face any problems as such. Instead, it intrigued me even more. Now, I read ONLY Psy and Crime thrillers, Non-Fiction and Spirituality Books. Try reading The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins !!

Vey true Anushka! As a beginner, it's important to go for what you like rather than popular choice books. When I was a beginner, I started reading self help nonfiction because of the hype. The experience was so bad that I stopped reading any book after that for a couple of months lol. After some trial and error, I've realized I only love fiction. Anyway, your video was awesome and to the point as always!

WOW di ! You make such a unique content. Btw I think this book THE MYSTERY ON THE TRAIN., I read it in a single sitting yesterday and idk but no-one is recommending this book at all for beginners. It is just of 120 pages and yes it is a mystery novel & the language like even children can read this amazing book. i just loved this book so much.🤩💖 (4K soon🥳💯😛💯🥳)

the autobiography of a yogi is the most difficult book I read till today. it's English ohh my god, I almost took 3-4 months to complete that book but it was worth it in the end. And yes, though I felt overwhelmed sometimes while reading that book and I did not leave that incomplete and completed it.

The first book I read was Titanic when I was in class 5th provided by library 😂 which I didn't complete..... The first book I read whole was little women and I am a reader now .... So I think there are some people like me who might like classics as beginners... But I totally agree with you because the % is very few

Thank you so much didi...❤ Actually nobody discuss about this .... I'm a beginner and when I started reading the book the courage to be disliked. The storyline of this book was soooo slow that after covering 3/4 th I lost my interest and as well I think I couldn't grasp that much I was expecting ❤

I am beginner and I started with Ram Chandra series by Amish Tripathi and initially I took half an hour to read an entire page as their were so many new words but after 50 pages I so much into the story that I enjoyed it a lot. I feel that the language wasn't very beginner friendly but I don't have much Idea about the language used in beginner friendly books.

I have read almost all the books mentioned in the video and I can understand most of them are difficult to get through. But you can't assume that a beginner wants to read an easy book only. Maybe for teens and young people, it's best to start with easy books. But sometimes as an adult, if the book is too simple, it can put you off too. So, this is a very subjective topic.

A Novel is - a book that tells a story about people and events that are not real. Autobiography of a yogi is NOT a novel, it falls in Genre of Autobiography. Please DO NOT speak with HALF knowledge! It’s for spiritual seekers , who aren’t bound by materialism life and are not fulfilled by glitter and this world! if somebody is a beginner, and still SO GOOD in reading in English, then they can start with anything, I think you need to mention these, for somebody who is a seeker, and desires for knowledge, Autobiography of a Yogi, is number - 1, was even recommended by Steve Jobs, Virat Kholi and many big entrepreneurs!

Is metamorphosis good for beginners ??

My first book was 'not without my daughter ' and this was so good to beginners. Simple and understandable.

Same here. The idea in it is quite repetitive and also for the fact that the same idea gets debunked by "The subtle art of not giving a F*uck* book, I stopped reading it.

I started my reading journey with rich dad poor dad. After reading 4 or 5 more books I picked up 1984 and completed it very comfortably

"Messed but but all for love" by "arvind parashar" i bought it from amazon for 120 rupees can you review it please

Please recommend best horror books

I started reading game of thrones as a beginner and it was really great I think, though it is a bit overwhelming as the series is really lengthy, I started the series in 6 months since I began reading but I don't recommend to beginners, I recommend the hunger games trilogy and divergent trilogy

As a beginner, should I go for the Twilight series? I haven't watched the movie yet!
